Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with 52 PIX of Westminister

We recently had the chance to connect with 52 PIX and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning 52, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: Have you ever been glad you didn’t act fast?
We were glad to not act fast, because though there is business we found more through waiting and building a network of contacts and clients, and thus has helped us with continuous constant business.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We are a group of photographers that go around the state and either photograph or shoot videos for virtually anybody! We are one of if not the cheapest in the state, not only we deliver high quality images and get this we will give you WAY more than what most companies do, we give a standard package of 52 pix for whatever it is you want to shoot! Have it be a car, yourself with family, or even a new product you have; we will take professional pictures for virtually almost anything upon client request, We have shifted primary focus to our artists but anybody is always available to book with us!

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
I worked for an 8 hour shift at my grandfathers tire shop, he paid me $10, to seven year old me that was everything. I remember wanting another 10 the next day, then the next, after another I saved up to $400 I was about to turn eight at the time, I had decided to buy candy and chips to sell at school, it quickly got shut down since “the school lost money” I didn’t even bother it was so dumb, however I just went to work for $10 a day. Now things have changed.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
When was there not? In all honesty we have almost given up on 52Pix with it being difficult to find willing and ready clients. So in a day of decisions we were set on focusing on all but specifically one; Artists/Creators. As we knew more than we actually thought, we started making: music videos/documentaries/content, through this we have focused primarily on videography. So we decided to keep moving forward with our sphere of Colorado artists.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
We are always ourselves no matter private or public we believe our authenticity is the best way to build chemistry/relationships with clients, we kill with kindness, as it never hurts to put a little good into the world where there’s tons of bad, a step at a time, a brick at a time we layer our foundation with morals and ethics, slow but honorable.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
In all honesty, we don’t wish to be remembered as the best, or the untouchables, etc, etc. We just wish to be remembered and if remembered is all than remember us as the good that tried to better, what we leave behind will only be mere shadows and history of ourselves with an empty Skelton shell of a building, and to this we smile and only wish to be remembered.
