Cas Altrich shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Cas, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Morning coffee with my husband, school drop-off, some sort of baking adventure then a medical appointment or vise versa, lunch and working on my book, photoshoot planning /prep. School pick-up and then start dinner.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Life as I know it is a beautiful blend of flour, deadlines, and a whole lot of heart! I’m a full-time homemaker, but that’s really just my starting point. I’m also the owner of my own custom cake business, where I get to turn delicious ideas into edible works of art.
When I’m not baking, you can find me deep in my manuscript, working on my story, and I can’t wait to share it. I’m also working on publishing a pin-up calendar by the end of the year—so much to do, so little time! On top of all that, I’m thrilled to be running for Mrs. Nevada 2026. Yes, it’s a lot, especially since I’m often traveling back to Colorado for medical care, but I believe in facing every challenge with a smile. With a bubbly personality and a can-do attitude, I’m proof that you can truly have your cake and eat it too!
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
That I’m not capable of great things.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear of not being good enough.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
My manuscript is a project I’m committed to. I’ve been working on it for a few years. But just recently, I’ve made it a priority, and I’m hoping to have it finished in the next year or 2.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What will you regret not doing?
Spending more time with my kids when they were little.
