Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Delilah Moore

Delilah Moore shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Delilah, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What battle are you avoiding?
An ex-friend of mine stalked me for 4 years after I ended our friendship and began spreading rumors that I was doing the things she was actually doing to me. She attempted to get a restraining order against me for these lies and failed twice. Recently last year beginning June 2024 to December 2024, she had several people follow me around and come to my home, looking through my windows and garage. I was able to obtain video footage of all of these people and them on the phone speaking to her and I realized she had attempted again to get another restraining order and couldn’t serve it to me since I was no where around her and had been avoiding going outside because of her stalking and harassment for all that time. These people coming to my home were attempting to find out where I was to serve me for her and also weren’t able to. I’ve not spoken or seen her since we stopped being friends in 2020 so this was extremely concerning and frustrating to still have to endure. She attempted to say she was an advocate for Stalkers while being one herself.

The battle I am now navigating is how to share my story. I no longer want to be tied to her in any way but this was traumatic and long standing so I still want to share my story and testimony of overcoming.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a Virtual Photographer, Author, Toxic Workplace Consultant, Artist, and Spiritual Wellness Guide.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My husband Eric. He accepted and loved who I was even in the midst of some of the darkest times in my life, when we were both 17.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes after being with my abusive ex husband for 8 years.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, I’m very authentic in my expression public or private.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What are you doing today that won’t pay off for 7–10 years?
Not being consistent or finding methods to maintain routine and discipline with my Audhd.
