Flavia Elizabeth, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Walking my dogs and feeling the morning sun hit my face is one of my favorite moments of peace. With the stress from my full-time job, running my boutique, and everything happening in the world, those few seconds outdoors mean everything. Being able to see, hear, touch, and just be reminds me how lucky I am to experience life in its simplest form. Not everyone has that privilege or good health, so I always take a moment to center myself and stay grateful for the little things that keep me grounded.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Flavia, the founder of CO-Wear, a Denver-based online boutique that blends confidence, culture, and creativity into every outfit. As a bilingual Latina entrepreneur, I started CO-Wear to make fashion more inclusive and empowering—especially for women who want to feel seen, heard, and stylish at any size. What makes CO-Wear special is that it’s not just about clothes—it’s about community. From collaborating with local models and influencers like Kjeanah to hand-selecting bold, statement-making pieces, every detail reflects my passion for helping others express their individuality with pride and flair.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was just a curious, creative girl who loved expressing herself through color and style. I dreamed big without worrying about limits, and I found joy in the little things—like making others feel confident and seen. Somewhere along the way, life tried to box me in, but through CO-Wear, I’ve reconnected with that fearless version of myself who believes in creating, inspiring, and uplifting others unapologetically.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell my younger self: You’re doing better than you think. Every setback, every doubt, every moment you felt unseen—it’s all shaping the strong, kind, and resilient woman you’re becoming. Keep trusting your heart, keep showing up, and never dim your light just to fit in. One day, you’ll realize that being yourself was your greatest power all along.

The public version of me is a piece of the real me—but not the whole story. What you see online is my confidence, creativity, and drive, but behind that are lessons, doubts, and growth that don’t always make it to the surface. I’ve learned to show up authentically while still protecting my peace. The real me is the same person—just layered, evolving, and still learning to balance vulnerability with strength.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I step outside in the early morning, leash in hand, walking my dogs while the sun gently warms my face. Those quiet moments remind me to breathe, to be present, and to appreciate the simple things—like the breeze, the sky, and the sound of life waking up. It’s in those moments I feel grounded, thankful, and connected to everything that truly matters.
