We’re looking forward to introducing you to Jamie DeLuccio. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Jamie , thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about your customers?
The most surprising thing I’ve learned about my clients is that, beneath all the layers of story, pain, and striving, we are all seeking the same thing… wholeness. No matter how different our paths or personalities may appear, every person I’ve worked with is longing to come home to themselves, to remember that they are worthy, lovable, and whole exactly as they are.
As an intuitive astrologer, shadow work practitioner, and yoga teacher, I’ve witnessed that everyone is, in their own way, trying to learn self-acceptance, self-love, self-compassion, and self-forgiveness. They are trying to integrate the parts of themselves they’ve rejected or hidden… often without even realizing it.
What continually humbles me is how universal our struggles are. We all doubt ourselves. We all question our worth. We all crave connection and permission to be messy, imperfect humans. And no matter how our stories differ, every single one of us is ultimately finding our way back to love, the love that lives within us and connects us all.
That truth never stops surprising me. And it’s what keeps me doing this work.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello there, I’m Jamie DeLuccioan intuitive astrologer, shadow work practitioner, guide, and yoga teacher devoted to helping people remember who they truly are. My work lives at the intersection of astrology, embodiment, and emotional healing. It’s about coming home to the parts of ourselves we’ve abandoned, silenced, or hidden and learning to love them back into wholeness.
What makes my work unique is how I weave intuition and astrology with somatic practices and deep shadow integration. I believe transformation happens when we don’t just understand ourselves, but when we actually feel ourselves… in the body, in the heart, and in the breath. My purpose is to create spaces where people feel safe enough to drop the masks and meet themselves with tenderness and truth.
Right now, I’m growing my yoga retreats internationally, because bringing people together in deep, authentic connection in magical places is my soul’s calling. There is something profoundly healing that happens when we gather in sacred space to breathe, to move, and remember that we are not alone on this journey. My heart lives in creating those moments where people feel seen, free, and fully alive.
I’m also working on completing my online astrology course called, Discovering You, which teaches people to read their own birth chart and understand themselves through the eyes of the stars… to see their patterns, their potential, and their purpose with clarity and compassion.
Ultimately, my brand and my life’s work are both rooted in one truth: we are all here to return to love-for ourselves, for each other, and for this beautiful human experience.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that’s ready to evolve is the one that still believes she needs to fix herself to be worthy of love. For so long, I chased healing as if it were a destination… thinking that if I could just release enough, purge enough, or let go of enough, I would finally arrive at peace. But what I’ve learned through my own shadow work and spiritual practice is that wholeness isn’t about releasing, it’s about allowing.
I don’t believe in letting go as much as I believe in integration… in turning toward the parts of me I once judged or tried to escape, and holding them close until they feel safe to rest. The version of me that’s ready to be transformed is the one that still forgets she’s already enough. She’s not something to discard, but to love into softness.
So, rather than releasing her, I’m inviting her home. I’m learning that true freedom isn’t in letting go of who I’ve been, but in embracing all of me… the tender, the messy, the powerful, and the becoming.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that has held me back the most in my life has been the fear of loss. For so long, I carried a deep, unconscious belief that love and loss were intertwined and that if I let myself love too deeply, it would eventually be taken from me. That fear quietly shaped the way I showed up in relationships and even how much joy I allowed myself to feel.
And then, when my mother was taken from me in an unimaginable, tragic way, I faced my greatest fear head-on. It shattered me but it also began the most profound awakening of my life. I realized that what I had feared all along wasn’t just loss itself, but the pain of being fully alive… of letting my heart be open in a world where everything changes.
Through my healing, I’ve learned that love and loss are not opposites rather they are inseparable threads of the same human experience. My mother’s passing taught me that the only way to truly honor love is to live it fully, even knowing it’s impermanent. So now, instead of protecting myself from loss, I choose to let life move through me… raw, wild, and real…trusting that love is always what remains.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies the self-help industry tells itself is that healing is about becoming better. More evolved. More enlightened. More “high-vibe.” It sells the illusion that if we just do enough work, buy enough courses, or “let go” of enough pain, we’ll finally arrive at some perfect version of ourselves that no longer struggles.
But true healing isn’t about self-improvement it’s about self-intimacy. It’s about learning the art of being with what is… the raw, the tender, the messy, the miraculous without needing to fix or escape it.
The self-help world often forgets that resilience isn’t built through avoidance or constant striving or “doing the work”. Resilience is born in our capacity to stay… to breathe through discomfort, to hold our pain with compassion, and to trust that we can meet life exactly as it is.
In my work as an intuitive astrologer and shadow-work guide, I’ve learned that transformation happens through integration, not bypassing. It happens when we stop chasing the light and begin to sit with the dark, knowing both belong.
We don’t need to be “better.” We need to be more real. Healing isn’t about becoming someone new it’s about remembering the wholeness and resilience that have always lived within us.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What pain do you resist facing directly?
The pain I resist facing directly is the deep, tender ache of life’s impermanence…the awareness that loss touches us all, and that every relationship, every moment, carries both beauty and heartbreak. For so long, I have tried to soften this truth, to keep it at arm’s length with busy-ness, self-improvement, or even spiritual practice.
What I’m learning in the way that grief teaches us is that true aliveness comes when we lean into this pain instead of running from it. To feel it fully, to sit with it without judgment, is to honor the sacredness of our own hearts and the lives we touch. It is here, in the presence of what hurts most, that resilience grows, compassion deepens, and our capacity for love expands.
The pain I resist is also the portal to intimacy with myself, with others, and with the profound mystery of being human. When I allow it in, I don’t just survive it; I am transformed by it.
