Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Rosenblum.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After graduating with a degree in broadcast journalism and working for radio stations, public relations firms and social media agencies, I noticed that I did not feel completely fulfilled with my life. I enjoyed the work I was doing, but I always felt like something was missing or I wasn’t living up to my fullest potential. One day, my husband asked me, “Why don’t you start working for yourself?” My immediate thought was, “No way, that’s too difficult. I could never!”

But then, I took a step back and really thought about it. I realized that this might just be exactly what I was missing out on. Even though it was scary and unknown territory, I took the leap and started Rosey Social. Four years later, I’m still here! It hasn’t been easy, but it was so worth it and easily the best decision I could have made for myself.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It certainly hasn’t been the easiest route to take, but I have learned and accomplished so much along the way. The biggest challenge I’ve faced is having total and complete confidence in myself. I have been working in this industry for more than ten years, so I’m allowed to charge the rates to reflect my knowledge and quality of service.

I have found that connecting with other women working in the world of digital marketing has helped me overcome this feeling of imposter syndrome and gain the confidence and encouragement I need to succeed.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Rosey Social is a social media agency focused on getting your business in front of the right people on the right platforms to create relationships, start conversations and grow your brand. We handle all things social media-related, including writing and publishing original posts, responding to comments and messages, engaging with potential clients and like-minded brands, designing brand-specific graphics and overall account management on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Whether you want videos, custom graphics, memes, infographics, or GIFs, we’re here to make you look good on social media at all times. We’ll work with you to figure out your goals and come up with a content strategy to help you get there.

My specialty is working with anything and everything food and beverage-related. Some of my favorite clients are restaurants, chef personalities, and food brands.

What I’m most proud of as a brand is my attention to detail. Sure, you can find a quick and cheap social media “agency” online to publish posts and manage your accounts, but like they always say, you get what you pay for. I take the time to analyze your business and your goals to create a specific plan tailored to you to help you reach those goals. My goal is to become an expert in not only your business but also your industry so I can position you as a thought leader on social media. What sets me apart from others is my creativity. I take the time to create something special for you. When you work with me, you’re paying for an individualized approach to social media to help your business stand out against your competition. It takes a lot of time and effort to do social media ‘the right way,’ and I love being able to offer this to small businesses that wouldn’t normally have the time, budget or personnel to accomplish this.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Spending time outdoors makes me the happiest! Whether it’s hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter—I’m going to be outside enjoying all of the seasons Colorado has to offer whenever I’m able. Getting outside and being fully immersed in nature is one of the best ways for me to truly relax and reset my mind.
