Life & Work with Amanda Earl of Boulder

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Earl.

Hi Amanda, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I grew up in Atlanta and attended Georgia State University on the Hope Scholarship. My first year of school, I majored in anthropology, but one day I saw a flyer on the wall for a film school. I decided to change my major, and discovered I had a dream to pursue film and video production in Los Angeles. I worked two jobs to save money through school, and after graduation, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream. My first year in Los Angeles, I landed a star role in a B film, called Carnival Evil, and I also had some extra roles in CSI Miami and How I Met Your Mother. I also did some live performances with a group called Kung Fu Femmes, and the group appeared on America’s Got Talent, opened a show in Las Vegas, and also appeared on Character Roadtrip.

However, everything changed when my father passed away in Atlanta. I had to go home and settle his estate, and shortly after his death, I got involved in real estate. I was conned into buying maxed-out homes, and could not rent them for the mortgages. I lost all the homes and my money, along with my relationship. Soon after, my health took a turn for the worse.

I decided to do some self-healing and took a trip to India to Oneness University. I did a month-long meditation there, and then went to China to live at a Kung Fu school. I regained my health, found a new love, and discovered my path in life. Upon coming back to the US, I enrolled in school for Traditional Chinese Medicine. I worked three jobs while going to school, and four years later, I graduated.

Since graduating, I have traveled all around the world and worked as a content creator. I opened an acupuncture clinic and then moved into working through consultations and phone appointments. Currently, I am writing books and treating patients through phone appointments and herbal protocols. My book, “Celestial Warrior: The Way of the Zhen Wu” is currently being adapted into a screenplay.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. Some of the struggles that I have had to face have included loss of a family member, loss of romantic relationships, and financial challenges.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have moved mostly into the creative space from medicine, and I have published a book on Amazon, called “Celestial Warrior: The Way of the Zhen Wu.” This book focuses on Eastern Spirituality modalities that promote healing from traumatic life events.

I am about to release a 50 States Series, and the first three books focus on miraculous short stories that occurred in the 50 states. The first book is “50 States 50 Historical Miracles,” which includes short stories that happened in the US and had a role in shaping American history. The second book is “50 States 50 Faith Based Miracles,” which has 50 short stories about religious miracles that occurred in the US. The third book in the series is “50 States 50 Angelic Mircles,” which tells of angelic encounters that occurred all around US. This series is for Adults and young adults.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
People can show support by purchasing and promoting the books.
