Life & Work with Anne Gish

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anne Gish.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
This business has been an exciting result of high interest in fashion, design, and circumstance.

Initially, I wanted to be a part of an interior design program at the school I wanted to attend, but they eliminated it before I had a chance to start.

After years of being a stay-at-home mom and supporting my husband’s firefighter/paramedic career, he had to retire early, and we needed a new beginning! My husband and I decided to look into real estate. We found investors and studied how to flip houses and earn a living with the housing market. During our time of flipping homes, I made all of the design decisions, including walls that needed to come down, paint colors, tile, and finishes. I soaked all of it in. It felt so good to be doing something so helpful but ultimately so satisfying and fun! As the flips were winding down, I took on the staging piece of the project, and it was like Christmas for me. After 3 years of our flips, I got up the courage to offer my services publicly. I’m new to owning my own business and some particulars, but my intuition and experience are solid. I’m so excited to serve our community in this way!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Not smooth! Real Estate can be scary, and we’ve got everything on the line. I’ve been working very hard on my confidence in my abilities outside of our own company. I feel like I’m not alone with this as a stay-at-home mom. Self-fulfillment is essential for any human, and I’m so grateful for my husband’s support in overcoming this obstacle and doing something that I love!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us more about your work?
I offer home staging for homes ready for sale: vacant homes and investment properties.

I love making a home look comfortable but high quality.

I’m a mother who has prioritized my family’s comfort in our home. I’m personable, relatable, and professional. I LOVE what I do, and I’m so excited to be able to help others in the process.

I’m most proud of my integrity and authenticity. I’ve worked hard for it and am proud of how far I’ve come as a person, a mother, a wife, and a friend.

What are your plans for the future?
I’m excited to grow my business and fulfill my dreams and contribute to our family and our experiences.
