Today we’d like to introduce you to Beauty.
Hi Beauty, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
One day I was at work back in March of 2016, and I had a lot of downtimes, I just started daydreaming. I started daydreaming about what I could become and wondering if I could do something different other than a 9 to 5. I have always been artistic, into fashion, taking photos, and music. There are several other things I love, but those are the main four categories I love. I have also always felt since I started in the working world at age 16, that I could one day manage or run my own business. I had so many ideas running threw my head.
The first thing I thought about was a merchandise line, I have several pictures I have drawn from scratch. I wondered how would I get people to buy my merchandise, and I thought about YOUTUBE!! I said to myself “I will do YouTube, and my supporters will purchase my merchandise!”. lol. I thought it was simple but it’s not that simple. I wasn’t ready to do my YouTube channel at the time, I felt I needed all these accommodations, when, if you are into YouTube you can start with what you have and you will grow in time that’s the joy of YouTube, your growth is the best part, and for others to see your growth is even better.
I still decided to hold off on starting my YouTube channel. I started posting tons of videos on Facebook, lipsync videos, blogging videos, singing videos, or videos of me dancing all kinds of videos. The videos that I created on Facebook went well. One video I created went viral. I did a lipsync cover of “Itty Bitty Piggy” by Nicki Minaj, and it reached over 697,000 views on Facebook. Unfortunately, people who were non-supporters kept reporting the video, so Facebook constantly blocked and unblocked the video to the public, and this is a fact.
This happened in I believe November 2016, I was at work when the video went viral. I was working at Belk Department Store in Goldsboro, North Carolina. I was so excited, I didn’t know what to do, but all I knew is that I needed to keep things going and that I was doing something right. I wind up re-recording another lipsync cover to Itty Bitty Piggy, to replace the video that kept getting taken down and surprisingly it reached 5k. I was, of course, happy with the results, but I will never forget the first video I created which in my opinion made a historical mark on me.
In March 2017 or so I started posting videos to my YouTube channel. I finally had some of what I needed to get started. I’m artistic and I love beauty and girly things, so of course I started out making makeup videos, with the hopes of my channel one day having a variety of content. In my last article which is on this site, I mentioned how I loved watching YouTube! My biggest YouTube inspirations are, TymeTheInfamous, Glamazon Tay, Jeffree Star, Dondria, Tori Kelly, Queen of The Ring, GiGi Gorgeous, Promise Phan, Patrick Starr, Nikkie De Jager, Michelle Phan, Kandee Johnson, Elinpapibaby, and last but not least Trisha Paytas!
I could name more but the names I listed are my top favorites, check them out they are very talented and inspiring, and all of them started on YouTube and are doing very big things now, I’m happy for them all. Watching them gave me lots of inspiration. I will always use the YouTube platform to promote anything I ever do regarding my career. YouTube is a great platform to make money and show off your talent or to grow your business.
Once I started making YouTube videos consistently it was nonstop. I’ve been chasing my aspirations ever since, I’ve had ups and downs, but I have still managed to pull threw. S/O to the LGBTQIA community for inspiring my passion to lip sync to different songs. Lip-syncing, from what I know became popular due to our beautiful Queens of the community. I feel lip-syncing allows you to dress up and be someone else for a moment. If you love music you will simply be in heaven. You get to show your creativity, talent, and personality when lip-syncing.
A lot of Queens in the community do what’s called ‘Drag Shows’ a form of entertainment performed by our Queens, impersonating women or men, usually musical performances with powerful iconic dance moves created by the community included. One of my all-time favorite shows featuring this type of entertainment is ‘Ru Paul’s Drag Race”!! I did several lip-sync videos, some short, some long. The songs took days and hours to learn sometimes, but the process was always fun.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Getting support when chasing your dreams is not easy, especially support from your friends and family. There were times I found myself sharing my ideas with friends to get a conversation rolling, hoping to support one another, but they would take the ideas and run. Showing no effort to support me, all the while I’m constantly showing support towards their talent or growing business.
I once provided an outfit for free to a very good friend of mine I looked up to when I had my store Elan & Finesse Extravaganza. I asked her to wear the outfit and post it to her social media to help my store Elan and Finesse Extravaganza gain validation. I gave her the outfit as an even exchange to make a post. We made an agreement and I went out of my way to hand deliver the outfit to her and I never got what we agreed to.
It hurt me and caused a stunt in my growth far as my business grows. My sister Jaqueline Michelle made the first purchase. I’m thankful for the support I did get from some, but It was a huge disappointment to see the lack of support from others. You have to have your own back, everyone wants to win, and there is always someone in the crowd hating and waiting on your downfall. I was working so hard to build my website that I had many mistakes, very easy fixes. if folks were there for me they should have said something. Especially family and friends.
Around this time was when I realized, when it comes to my dreams, I’m going to have my own back, I still try to get their support, but now I have the support of the world, my fan base is growing and I appreciate the love soooooo much!! I’m happier than ever about my growth in the media, and it didn’t happen overnight, all great things take time. Lately, I’ve been struggling with how I want to chase my dreams. I often wonder, what words should I write in this song, and what picture or video should I post next, worrying about what others would think.
I’m very spiritual, and being close to God makes me whole, but lately, I have been exploring my sensual/sexy side. I feel folks have always judged me for the shape or beauty that God gave me all my life. Sometimes I hate it, I grew up with fewer friends and more enemies. I’ve been very poised on the media for many years, and now I call myself embracing what some always hated me for, the sweetest revenge.
Hey! I love being sexy, I also want to show the industry/media my limits and how far I’m willing to go far as my appearance when it comes to chasing my dreams. I can be as sweet as a church girl singing in the choir on a Sunday morning or as naughty as the hottest dancer in a popular nightclub. Showing my sexy side also gives me a chance to connect with my male supporters. If anything growing up I always had a lot of male friends, from elementary to high school, a JUDGE FREE ZONE for real. Building a foundation for women to fellowship is important to me.
I’ve made the decision that I can be sexy and modest and still be appealing to the crowd. I’m putting on for the women, so I’m trying my best not to get too wild. I’m going to be me and show the world a side of me they’ve seen. I won’t hold back too much because I want women to know, to live in their truth, don’t tone down who they are for acceptance. Your story is your story, chase your dreams the best way you know how. Women should not be attacked for their sex appeal or simply being themselves.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I spoke about pursuing my music career, which is important for me to give it a shot. I love music once again, and I would love a chance to make some good music for the world. My first freestyle on YouTube Was ” Rags 2 Riches” by Rod Wave, the song is so inspiring, Rod Wave did his thing. Around the time I thought about writing to Rags 2 Riches, Nicki Minaj made a post on Instagram with the caption ” So you can rap”? and I took it and ran with it!
Also a few days before Nicki Minaj posted on IG, my son told me “Ma I want to be a rapper’ He recited some good freestyles, of course, I told him “You can do anything you put your mind to son”. I had to chase the idea of creating music, once I heard my son say that. If he decides to do music in the future I would like to personally show him it’s possible.
Ever since I started making freestyle videos, I couldn’t stop writing freestyles and posting them to YouTube. I did “Heaven or Hell” by Meek Mill, “Unthinkable” by Alicia Keys, “Pu$$y Fairy” by Jhene Aiko, ” Warning ” by Nicki Minaj, and many more. I love freestyling to beats that other artists have been on because it inspires my journey. Every time I have written to a beat that already has an original artist, it’s always been a reason behind the freestyle.
When I did Pills & Potions by Nicki Minaj, I felt most hated by people that have known me or know of me forever. When I did Rags 2 Riches by Rod Wave, there was a hunger inside pushing me to chase my dreams no matter what, and Heaven or Hell by Meek Mill, I was speaking on losing my son, having a broken family, but I won’t give up.
Music is powerful, and to make a change in the world, a lot of folks would say it starts with the music we create, which is true. We also must pay attention to how we perceive the music that is being created, we must limit our children to what they listen to, which is our job as parents, the kids are our future.
I have still been writing music, I haven’t gotten into the studio to record but I plan to very soon. I have done a lot of freestyles, I may put out another at the beginning of the year on YouTube. I’m also working on creating something original, I would love to use a fresh beat, chosen by yours truly. I’m looking to make a huge transition here soon, I’m sure it will further my career, and I must have faith.
I’m leaning more toward singing and rapping. I never really liked my singing voice but I’m learning to embrace it. Some of the singing Artists that have inspired me; are Monica, Brandy, Toni Braxton, Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Destiny’s Child, Chris Brown, Usher, Mario, Mya, Mariah Carey, Kelly Price, Aaliyah, Brittney Spears, R-Kelly, Pretty Ricky the list goes on you all, the ones I can name without looking, they made a huge impact.
Also, I went to church every Sunday lol and I was in the Choir at every school I ever attended, which was annoying, but learned to love it. It wasn’t a bad thing since I liked music. Check out my newest freestyle on YouTube to Lil Wayne Watch My Shoes!! My best one this year!!
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
All women are BEAUTY, all women are beautiful. I love using the word BEAUTY as my artist name because I feel it’s very becoming for me and refreshing for the industry. I felt calling myself that would help people focus especially women. I’ve been using the name BEAUTY as my artist name since about 2017. I used to call myself “MS3STACKS” but I stopped due to someone I know that gave a slight idea on the name, constantly mentioning how they would need a profit because they helped come up with the name.
Its always folks out there that want to try and take credit, when the hard work is done and I wasn’t having that so #RIP to MS3STACKS officially. I’m glad I introduced BeautygangBeauty and Beautynottheonlybeauty to the public, so I can start the journey of bringing women closer together, especially the women of the industry who inspire many around the world threw entertainment. We have a new Instagram name since my last article, BeautygangbeautyOfficial, we are growing in the media and we are looking to take things far, creating a foundation to support all women across the globe is ideal.
Thanks, Nicki Minaj was the reason our first platform started on May 18th, 2022. We may use other platforms like Twitter and Facebook in the future. I got a chance to spread women’s unity in the local town I currently live in, Florence, South Carolina. I had the pleasure of meeting with Sandra Taylor a female Dj. I met her back in October 2022, when I visited a bar in town called “Creek Side”. I made a video or two while I was there to the music she was playing, and I posted it to social media.
Sandra showed so much support. I didn’t waste any time reaching out to her and asking her to be a part of my upcoming article. She said yes! I went back in December 2022 on a Wednesday night, to show my support for her Artistry. We took pictures, made videos and had a very nice time. I have some photos added below of myself and Sandra Taylor, she also added a few photos she selected that she would like to share. It’s important to show love to one another, we all want to grow and be successful, and we must show each other support.
Thanks for reading!! Follow and subscribe to stay updated on my road to success.
