Today we’d like to introduce you to Gary Givant, Garth Geisler, Eric Lake, Coco, and Manny Madrid.

Hi Gary Givan, Garth Geisler, Eric Lake, Coco, and Manny Madrid, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
The SNAP! concept started in Portland with an idea from our founder Coco Madrid and the first two SNAP! DJs Palmer ‘Freaky Outty’ Auty and Chip ‘Colin Jones’ Brokaw. The party expanded to Seattle in 2010 and to Denver in 2014.

Garth ‘Garthy Garth’ Geisler and Eric ‘YoHuck’ Lake began the Denver party at Milk Bar and after six months moved to Beauty Bar. At this point, DJ Gary Givant, Manny ‘DJ Love’ Madrid, and Aaron Ladley were added to the line-up. A few months later Beauty Bar folded, we had a brief stint at Tracks Denver, and then we landed at Ophelia’s for the last several years. We are now moving the party once again to the Mercury Cafe, our first date will be in September.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are a crew of DJs with an almost unbelievable depth and years of experience. Between the four of us, we’ve DJed house, pop, hip-hop, disco, RnB, goth, industrial, emo, and more. Roughly the length of our DJing experience is Gary 50 years, Garth 25 years, Manny 25 years, and Eric 15 years.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Since we are four very diverse people our stories vary greatly with one exception, the strong influence of music on our lives. We would love to share our individual stories with you.
