Today we’d like to introduce you to Grace Ascione.
Hi Grace, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My years as a critical care nurse profoundly shaped the trajectory of my career. Caring for patients and families during some of their most difficult, emotional moments taught me resilience, empathy, and the ability to make clear decisions under pressure. Those experiences revealed who I was at my core and built the foundation of principles and skills I carry with me as an entrepreneur today—lessons for which I’m deeply grateful.
Through that work, I came to appreciate how each person’s journey is unique and how every story carries its own value and power when shared. As my career evolved, I discovered a passion for helping healthcare professionals and business owners uncover and communicate their stories through digital platforms.
After earning my MBA from the University of Denver and managing global product lines exceeding $100 million in revenue, I took the leap from a high-paced product management role to founding my own digital marketing company. I began by managing part-time digital marketing for several small healthcare clients referred to me locally. I enjoyed the process and immersed myself in the growing suite of online tools for campaigns, SEO, and lead generation.
Then the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated a shift: businesses and customers alike moved online for meetings, services, and information. Recognizing this trend—as did Google—I refined my programs to help clients thrive in this new environment. As my clients achieved success, referrals multiplied, and I built a strong reputation across multiple social media groups and platforms.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being an entrepreneur has it’s challenges and sometimes feels isolating. But I love the challenge it gives me on a daily basis and the opportunity for flexibility. I would say my biggest struggle has been over the last year with the AI implementation on all the platforms I use. Most of the rollouts have been very disruptive and I have found they changed a many assumptions and workflows that I was used to. I have found some benefits but am still working to fully adapt my business models and advertising to optimize with AI.
AI is great but it still needs a lot of active management and questioning of the reporting on analytics and data that it provides. If you are having challenges with this, I would love to connect to talk more about it!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in helping healthcare businesses expand their reach and connect with patients by building a strong and credible digital presence. In today’s environment, a practice’s online profile is often the first impression a potential patient has—and it directly shapes trust and decision-making. Over the past five years, I’ve focused on guiding healthcare providers to understand how their digital footprint reflects their brand and how it can be optimized to attract and retain patients. My expertise lies in Google Ads and keyword analysis tailored to healthcare audiences, where precise targeting and compliance are critical. This approach not only drives organic search visibility and advertising performance but also supports long-term patient growth. What I value most is partnering with healthcare professionals and seeing measurable results that make a real impact on their ability to serve patients.
I am also dedicated to the support of our National & State Parks and we donate back 10% of all our earnings to the parks. These outdoor lands are important to maintain and pass down to our children. My family has spent many wonderful hours exploring the parks and we need to continue to invest in them. I also believe in balance and feel that work cannot dominate one’s life and spending time outside is just as important.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
I currently mentor several entrepreneurs who are starting out and I coach them to build their service/product offering and craft a unique positioning statement for their business. It is important to be confident in what you offer and to be able to say it succinctly. From there, start networking and fine tune your message and service/product offering. The key is to get out there and network with other business owners.
