Today we’d like to introduce you to Lana Prystynska.

Hi Lana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am from Ukraine and when I was a student I worked in Kyiv as an animator in different showrooms, kids centers and kids fairs. It was many cool places I worked and when I moved to the United States I thought why don’t I open a fun a place with all of my ideas for rooms and backdrops through these years. First room was a “Friends” coffee house because I love this show 🙂 When I worked in Kyiv, Instagram just appeared, and Tik Tok didn’t even exist yet, but now I see how popular it is among young people, so I combined the idea of ​​a photo studio for children with rooms for young people, where they can create content for social networks and videos for Tik Tok and of course just a fun time for families and kids.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It is still difficult to open a business during a pandemic. Over the past two years, a very unstable time, the rules are changing. Prices have risen in downtown Denver, but due to the fact that many businesses have closed, crime has grown. We were looking for a room for a very long time, and we finally chose Littleton. It is a growing safe area with many children and families…

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are photo studio/ Instagram/TikTok museum. We wanted to open art space for people who need to create their content, take pictures and have fun. We are a very flexible place because you can come to visit and for 20$ take pictures with 30 different backdrops on your own phone or we can provide you a photographer with an extra charge. You can rent our place hourly for bachelorette and b-day parties, and baby showers.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
We’ve learned that it’s not that easy to find a place and it’s still difficult to open your business after covid than before covid.
