Today we’d like to introduce you to Leah Leguizamon.

Hi Leah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been drawn to the power of photographs to preserve meaningful moments. My dad had an interest in photography, though life never allowed the time for lessons. After my husband and I married, he gifted me my first camera, and when our second child was born, that hobby grew into the career I’m so grateful for today.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I believe challenges often accompany the things that matter most. For me, that has meant learning how to balance more than one career while finding my rhythm in life.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m best known for my cake smash sessions, where I love creating personalized, one-of-a-kind sets that perfectly reflect each little one. While I adore the creativity of studio work, my heart is always drawn to dreamy sessions surrounded by Colorado’s breathtaking natural beauty. There is no genre I don’t shoot as it all fills my creative cup.

What does success mean to you?
I define success not by perfection, but by growth—continuing to learn, create, and show up fully for both my family and my work.
