Life & Work with Mario Testolin of Denver

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mario Testolin.

Hi Mario, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Growing up in Madison, WI, I was always into music. I started performing in rock bands then produced Rap music. I moved to Milwaukee 6 years ago to get a Marketing degree. At that time, I also started producing EDM music and curating events with a mission to guide others into the best version of themselves with music. I moved to Denver in August with aspirations to affect even more people in a positive way. I started playing/curating events in Denver with a goal to perform at events consistently. These shows have DJs, LED Flow Artists, Live Painters, and Vendors. I’m happy to say I’ve already surpassed that goal with a monthly residency at Your Mom’s House Denver, and continued events at venues like Kulture Music Hall and many others. I am excited to say I am now hosting/performing at around 4-6 events per month. It’s been amazing to see the growth and I’m looking forward to the future!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has been filled with challenges and struggles, which makes the good moments even sweeter! One of the biggest challenges I faced recently was rebuilding my brand in a new state across the country. It is a long process, yet I’m grateful for the community I’ve built and for those who have joined the movement already!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I produce EDM music, perform, and curate events. With events, I am to replicate a full festival experience inside a venue. Most events have LED Flow Artists, Live Painters/Artists, and Vendors. I am most proud of the amazing community of performers and artists I have built. I am blown away by the talent and motivation with the people in my family, truly incredible. What sets me apart from others are my performances (some contain live instrumentals!) and the quality of events I curate. Everything is carefully crafted, from setting a unique theme to paring it with the perfect DJs and creatives.

Regarding apps/books/etc, I use Instagram (wave.visionz), Facebook (Wave Vision), and TikTok (wave_vision) to amplify my business. I also utilize meditation and workout regularly to keep my mind and body in great shape.
