Hi Angelica, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Started my journey in the industry in 2014, out of Miami, Florida Helped open up two fitness studios between 2014-2016
Moved to Barcelona, Spain in 2016 & worked at a boxing & spinning boutique fitness studios
Decided to move back to the states in 2018 to open up my own concept (MELTprjct)
Had the opportunity of being part of Kondition Fitness’s incubator program & launched MELTprjct out of their studio
The pandemic hit & we immediately took our concept virtually, MELTprjct OFF THE BAGS was born
We stayed strong virtually for two years and in 2022 found our own studio space to open our very first brick and mortar
opened our doors in May 2022
Now we have a hybrid boutique fitness studio, all classes are live streamed and recorded
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not smooth, but so worth it. Both of our big launches were made possible by the love our community.
Our current studio space was made possible through a community crowd funding campaign we hosted & raised $20,000
& were able to collect the remaining funds necessary through a lululemon grant.
The pandemic was also a tough transition, but one that really taught us so much.
We were able to move virtually which is where the industry was moving towards anyways. but there was plenty of trial and error to get everything right.

My persistence I’m never scared to take a leap & challenge myself
