Today we’d like to introduce you to Bre Rinkema.
Hi Bre, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Six years ago, I embarked on a life-changing journey into the world of real estate. Back then, the prospect of navigating the dynamic and competitive real estate market was both exhilarating and daunting. Despite the uncertainties, I took a leap of faith, fueled by a passion for helping individuals find their dream homes.
Drawn to the allure of a larger real estate firm, I discovered that the corporate environment wasn’t the right fit for me. The impersonal nature and rigid structure left me longing for something more. Structure Real Estate Group, a small boutique company that instantly felt like home.
What drew me to Structure Real Estate Group was the warm and welcoming family atmosphere. The close-knit team made me feel valued, and I found that this environment fostered collaboration and support. I realized that in the world of real estate, success is not just about transactions; it’s about building relationships and creating a sense of belonging.
As the sole provider for my family, I wear many hats. My husband, a dedicated stay-at-home dad, has been instrumental in allowing me to pursue my career. His unwavering support and commitment to raising our son have allowed me to focus on my passion for real estate.
Throughout my career, I have embraced the role of a solo agent. While it comes with its challenges, the autonomy has allowed me to shape my business according to my values and vision. I’ve become the architect of my success, driven by the desire to provide for my family and make a lasting impact in the real estate industry.
In my world, clients are not just transactions; they are the heartbeat of my business. I take pride in being a solo agent, personally dedicated to every aspect of my client’s journey. Without a team of transaction coordinators or administrators, I have honed my skills to provide a personalized, hands-on experience.
Throughout my journey, I also started a female entrepreneur networking group, HER. Society. This group is unlike any other I have had the opportunity to be a part of. The women truly care about one another and their success, support one another through their challenges, and have the community at the center of their hearts. Giving back to the community that gives so much to us.
Every step of the way, I am grateful for the friends, family, and clients who entrust me with their dreams. Their satisfaction and happiness drive me to exceed expectations and deliver a seamless experience. I believe that in real estate, success is measured not just in deals closed but in the lasting relationships forged.
As I reflect on my six-year journey in real estate, I am excited about the future. I am committed to continuing my solo agent path, providing unparalleled service, and building a legacy of trust and excellence in the real estate landscape. My story is one of resilience, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of dreams – a testament to the power of passion and the importance of finding one’s place in the world of real estate.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Working with Diverse Personalities: Real estate involves interacting with a wide range of personalities, including clients, other agents, and industry professionals. Each person has unique needs, preferences, and communication styles. It is my job to balance effective communication and build rapport with each person throughout the process. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial and I would like to think my background in customer service has helped me succeed with this challenge.
Unpredictable Market Conditions: Real estate markets are influenced by various factors, including economic conditions, interest rates, and local developments. These external forces create a constantly changing and often unpredictable landscape. The inability to control external market forces adds an element of uncertainty to my profession. As a sole provider this makes my career a touch more challenging however it also pushes me to be at the top of my game and know the market inside and out.
Perception of Ease: Some individuals may underestimate the complexity and demands of the real estate profession, assuming that being a realtor is easy or involves minimal effort. Watching HGTV or Selling Sunset only shows a small glimpse into the real estate world. Overcoming misconceptions about the profession requires that I showcase expertise, hard work, and dedication. I get to educate clients and the general public about the intricacies of the job in hopes that this helps build respect for the profession.
Emotional Transactions: Real estate transactions often involve significant emotional investment for clients. Buying or selling a home can be a deeply personal experience, leading to heightened emotions throughout the process. Managing the emotional aspect of transactions requires empathy, patience, and a steady hand. All of which I like to think I encompass.
Intense Competition: The real estate industry is a highly competitive profession, with many vying for clients and listings. I approach the competitive environment by finding unique ways to stand out from the rest. I spend time researching and developing various services that set me apart and show my clients why and how I am different from the rest.
Time Management and Work-Life Balance: Real estate professionals often face demanding schedules, with the need to balance client meetings, property showings, paperwork, and administrative tasks. This is probably one of my greatest challenges.
With my husband holding down the fort at home, my clients and my work are oftentimes (more often than not) at the forefront of my thoughts. I aim to achieve a healthy work-life balance with this new year. I believe effective time management, prioritization, and setting boundaries are essential to prevent burnout and maintain overall well-being.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Thank you for your kind words! I’m passionate about real estate and dedicated to providing top-notch service to my clients. As a solo agent, I prioritize the unique needs and goals of each individual I work with.
My approach is centered around personalized attention, clear communication, and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for my clients and their real estate goals. Whether it’s finding the perfect home or navigating the complexities of a real estate transaction, I strive to make the process seamless and stress-free.
Ultimately, my clients’ satisfaction and success are my top priorities, and I take great pride in helping them achieve their real estate dreams.
How do you think about luck?
There is no such thing as luck only a combination of preparation, effort, and opportunity.
This viewpoint is often associated with the belief that individuals create their opportunities through hard work, perseverance, and strategic decision-making. Unless you go to a casino, then luck may have a thing or two to do with it…haha!
