Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlie Adams

Hi Charlie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve sold insurance most of my adult life and have always had dogs. Most recently my English bulldog Gambino was tearing through his beds. My friends jokingly talked about me making my own dog bed so I did. I googled how to make a dog bed and the rest is history.

it took about a year and 2 months to come up with our finished proto type after testing out many fabrics and iterations of the bed itself.

Started out in my apartment, went into a shared warehouse space and then got our own warehouse all in less than 4 months since inception of the brand.

Our success early on has been attributed to taking many calculated risks and executing them well. but at the end of the day our product is great and our customer service is top notch. that is the key.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A smooth road is a fallacy. No matter how much you plan things rarely go according to plan.

Managing cash flow, supply chain and angry customers even when you do everything right.

You need to be flexible and be able to pivot on a moments notice.

We’ve made many mistakes that have cost us thousands of dollars but having our mission in mind and knowing why we are building this company makes the stress a lot more manageable.

Id say managing your paid ads is one of the more stressful things. you gotta spend money to make sales and when sales are down you still need to spend more.

I have a problem buying any t shirt or hat I see. or really anything for that matter. I love supporting small business any chance i get. Maybe that’s not surprising but im a pretty open book. I love comedy and im just a normal dude like anyone else.
