Meet Chloe Petramale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chloe Petramale. 

Hi Chloe, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am from Chicago and have always been passionate about photography and sharing my life through social media. I love to travel and spent a lot of time abroad in college. I spent breaks in places like Thailand, Paris, Iceland, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Nepal, and more. Throughout sharing my travel and lifestyle I started to grow a following and naturally start working with brands. Fast forward to 2021, my boyfriend Keaton and I decided to pick up and move to Denver when he had a new job opportunity and I am spending my days working as a counselor and content creator. I continue to travel the world as often as possible and work with major brands like NASCAR, REVOLVE, Old Forester, many hotels, and more. I am passionate about mental health awareness and being unapologetically yourself. I love trying new restaurants, seeing new places, and wearing *extra* outfits. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s rare for anything worth it to be easy. Social media is a much tougher job than people truly understand. It’s never 2+2 =4, you can do everything right and it may not work out as planned. That can really pull on your mental health and it’s also very common for creators to face imposter syndrome. I have struggled with depression and anxiety my entire life and although social media and creating is a huge outlet for me, it can also be a really hard space to be. I am thankful for my community and family for being supportive of when I need a break and to take care of myself. I have no regrets though; I love what I do and being able to share my life and also advocating for mental health. 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My specialties are fashion, travel, and lifestyle. I do not have one specific niche and that is what makes me ME! I am a self-taught photographer (my brother Cam actually has helped a ton as well) I love to create unique looks from my favorite fashion brands and then shoot them in different ways. I love casual authentic day-to-day content but I also love pushing the norm and creating really unique shoots. I also love to explore the world and everything it has to offer. When it comes to lifestyle, I really love sharing everything but cocktails especially! 

I am most proud of my creativity. Coming up with really unique ways to showcase a look, location, or product. 

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Totally random but my tattoos. I believe I know have around 25? Some bigger, some smaller but all with unique or fun meanings. I get a lot of comments or messages from people when they see one saying they didn’t know I had any and then are even more surprised to see how many I have. I have received many in other countries or for members of my family. I have a Mickey Mouse on my hip and most people seem to get the biggest kick out of him.
