Today, we’d like to introduce you to Christina Christian. Christina was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Deb Matlock.

Hi Christina, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
Hi! I’m Christina; owner, operator and founder of The Colorado Retreat Co. I started my business to ensure you have the perfect place to host your retreat, offsite, or wedding – complete with the supplies you need and support you expect!

For most of my career I’ve planned events and experiences at venues all over the world that bring people and communities together.

Having my own unique destination to offer wedding planners, couples, and event organizers that were just like me has been a dream of mine for many years.

In 2022 my husband and I purchased the Steel Horse in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains and immediately recognized how incredibly special, serene, and one-of-a-kind it is.

The Steel Horse is truly the ideal destination for intimate weddings, family reunions, friend gatherings, team offsites, and transformative, healing retreats – it’s also my dream come true.

Finding a partner like Deb and Wild Rhythms, LLC has literally been a kismet experience and what I manifested when envisioning the ideal client partner.

Her mission to help people discover and develop their deep, sacred, authentic, and empowered spiritual connection to wild nature is perfectly aligned with what the land at the Steel Horse has offered for centuries and I’m honored to have her and her work come to life here.

It was so incredible to witness Deb and her clients experience the babble of the creek, the view of the mountains, the stillness under the crisp night sky, and the sunrise each morning as she encouraged everyone to really slow down to truly appreciate each of those daily occurrences.

I could tell by the end of the first Wild Land, Wild Soul Sacred Nature Connection Retreat she hosted here that each moment spent both connection with, and appreciation of, all of the elements brought to awareness through Deb’s guidance disarmed each participant and opened up a new perspective on themselves and their natural surroundings.
