Today we’d like to introduce you to Dat Gurl Secrete. 

Hi Secrete, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After graduating from the University of Tennessee, I decided to start my first business, Virtual Career Solutions so that I could provide employment opportunities for others. Shortly thereafter, I started my record label, PrimeTime Productions Music Group and both businesses have been thriving ever since. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The main struggles I have experienced on this journey are numerous. Developing effective financial strategies, in addition to the mental and physical strains entrepreneurship can have on a person can be enough to make anyone want to give up. However, the best lesson I have learned from these experiences is to have faith and believe in yourself. No matter the circumstances faced, as long as you work hard and never give up, success is inevitable! 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As an entrepreneur and musical artist, finding a balance can be tricky. Performing for fans at various venues has been extremely significant for me. The moment I am most proud of so far is performing at Centerstage in Atlanta, Georgia. As an artist, the main thing that sets me apart from other is the ability to help others. Providing individuals with employment opportunities and experience through Virtual Career Solutions during the daytime while lighting up the stage each night definitely sets me apart from others. 

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory is meeting the first 2-time WNBA MVP and Olympic Gold Medalist, Cynthia Cooper. It was so rewarding to see a female athlete striving and excelling on a national and global level.
