Meet Deborah Kennedy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deborah Kennedy.

Deborah Kennedy

Deborah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story began ten years ago, while I was attending the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I always had a passion for integrative health, in particular women’s wellness. I was inspired to bring change in ways that created a healthier mind, body, and environment. The Lord put it on my heart, and I began researching and formulating products targeted at women and children in the home environment. My products do not contain any chemicals toxic fragrance, or hidden harmful ingredients.

The products are local, hand-crafted, and made to order. Bella Clean Earth LLC can be found at Black Forest Farmers Market, Park & Union Farmers Market, Ahavah Farm CSA, Three Mercantile Chicks boutique, Third Space Coffee, and more locations to come. I host classes in the community on Holistic Living and enjoy educating the community on how they can empower themselves, by creating small changes to healthier living.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As with any small business, there are many challenges. There are multiple roles and all the responsibilities are solely yours as the owner. My greatest challenge is finding time, and getting my systems online in place. I am very organized, but I realized, that one person cannot do everything. I am in the process of hiring help for the areas I am not proficient at.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My past career, spanning over 34 years was in the medical profession. I learned a great deal serving others, and caring for them during their greatest difficulties. My passion is integrated health, and wellness, for women.

I am very proud to have served in women’s ministry, with Single Moms, Restoration Ministry. Healing Care, Community sections Co-leader, Serving communion, Mary’s Home as a medical volunteer, and hosting single mom events. I am most proud of being a mom, and a Nana to my grandchildren who are my greatest joys!

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
My strength lies in my faith, and my success, which I thank Jesus for. I am a person that exudes integrity, I am goal-oriented, and a visionary. I am a person who strives to be accountable and humble in my life and work. My compassion for people and my heart for moms and children is truly my soul, and every day I try to be the best in all I can, being mindful of others, in my life, and community.
