Today we’d like to introduce you to Denisse Olivas.

Hi Denisse, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
From a very young age, I felt a special connection with makeup. For me, it was never just about appearance, but a way to express myself and enhance each person’s beauty. I started practicing on myself, exploring colors, techniques, and learning in a self-taught way, driven by curiosity and passion.

Over time, that passion grew into something more serious. I began doing more makeup for friends and family, and that’s when I discovered how much I loved not only the art of makeup, but also how people felt when they looked at themselves in the mirror – more confident, happier, more like themselves.

That moment was very important to me because I realized that makeup goes beyond the surface. It’s a tool that transforms not only how you look, but how you feel. From that point on, I decided to continue learning, improving skills, and turning my passion into a profession.

Today, Makeup is a very important part of my life. It’s not just my job- it’s my way of connecting with other women, helping them feel beautiful,

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey hasn’t always been easy. I’ve faced challenges and obstacles along the way that have tested my patience, strength and dedication. There were moments of doubt and difficulties that made the path harder, but each experience has helped me grow both personally and professionally. What matters most to me is that I didn’t give up. I stayed committed to my passion, kept moving forward, and today, I’m still here, stronger, more prepared, and more motivated than ever.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in makeup and hairstyling for Brides and Quinceaneras, two of the most meaningful and unforgettable moments in a woman’s life. Being part of those special days is something I truly value and take great pride in. What makes my work unique is the level of care, detail, and personalized experience I provide to each client. I don’t just focus on making them look beautiful, but on making them feel confident, confident, comfortable, and truly themselves. Creating a look that enhances their natural beauty while lasting throughout such an important day is something I am deeply passionate about, and it’s what sets me apart.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
One of the most meaningful lessons I’ve learned throughout these 9 years of my career is to never judge and to understand that every woman carries her own story. We are all different, and each person who sits in my chair may be going through something we cannot see. This has taught me the importance of listening, being empathetic, and creating a safe space, especially among us women.
