Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Has it been a smooth road? Like any growing business, we’ve definitely faced some challenges along the way. Cash flow has been a key concern, especially balancing enough business to keep our talented team fully engaged without overextending. Getting job costing just right took some time, making sure every project is priced fairly while maintaining quality and profitability is a constant balancing act.

We’ve also worked hard to figure out where to spend our marketing dollars most effectively to bring in the right kind of leads that convert into loyal customers. Each hurdle has been a learning opportunity, helping us sharpen our processes and grow stronger. It’s all part of the journey, and we’re proud to keep pushing forward with a focus on continuous improvement.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Great question! I definitely see the home improvement and handyman industry evolving over the next 5 to 10 years, especially with technology stepping in more and more. Robots and automation are starting to show up in painting, drywall, and tile laying, which is exciting and could help with efficiency on larger projects, but right it is mostly commercial applications. When it comes to residential handyman work, where the jobs are often unique, require problem-solving, and involve lots of personal touches, I believe we are still more than a decade away from robots fully taking over.

Handyman work is about trust, attention to detail, and adaptability, which is hard to automate. So while technology will enhance our tools and processes, the heart of our work, connecting with customers and delivering quality craftsmanship, will always need a human touch.
