Dreka “MissDreeks” White is no stranger to the creative world, having spent 7+ years as a licensed clinical therapist and program manager, where she managed numerous marketing campaigns and promoted various community events. She has more than 22 years of marketing experience –having started her first business at the tender age of 13.

MissDreeks’ varied background in marketing, psychology, and hair styling provided the perfect foundation for her to become a Social Media and Marketing Director/CEO and founder of her own company —MissDreeks’ Marketing Agency. After two successful careers in clinical psychology and hair styling, MissDreeks now teaches other companies how to marry psychology with business so they can better understand their customers (or clientele).

MissDreeks coaches businesses and brands on how to improve their social media and marketing strategy by helping them create better content, which in turn leads them to create more opportunities for themselves, acquire new revenue streams, and increase brand awareness and outreach.

MissDreeks offers a wide range of marketing services and 3-tier monthly subscriptions, from analytics reviews to filming and live-streaming setup, along with video and editing services. I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Of course, it hasn’t been a smooth road. MissDreeks was a Licensed Clinician and Licensed Natural Hair/Braiding Stylist with her own salon suite in Houston, Texas (in 2016) when a Houston Metro Police Officer conducted an illegal traffic stop that could have ended her life. Although she called 9-1-1, she was still falsely and violently arrested and also spent two nights in jail for “resisting an arrest”.

However, the despicable police brutality incident made national news and gave her very influential TV and news stations to speak on, which led to her case being dismissed. Unfortunately though, MissDreeks fell into a major depression and then fled to the military to try and forget who she was.

Now a Veteran Entrepreneur, she is more than equipped to help service members, their family members, and civilians alike start over and reinvent themselves.

Regardless of what she has overcome in her life (to get to where she is now), she holds fast to: “If the opportunity doesn’t exist, C-R-E-A-T-E your O-W-N!” (O-W-N stands for your own opportunities, your own wealth, and your own notoriety.)

Dreka White is the proud owner of MissDreeks’ Marketing Agency. She has branded herself as ‘MissDreeks’ on YouTube and all major social media platforms. She is a U.S. Army Vet, an Entertainingly Educational Entrepreneur, Video Producer, and Techie that strives to educate and empower service members, their family members, business owners, and self-starters all around the world.

She promotes and creates content on:

Dreka received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern University and A&M College while on an academic and track and field scholarship. She also graduated with her Master’s Degree in Psychology and acquired her Clinical license to practice as a Licensed Clinician —diagnosing children and adults with learning disabilities, personality disorders, mood disorders, and such —which is why she is so personable and relatable to all demographics.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I sing, write and engineer music and have recorded about 12 songs in my home studio.
