Meet Elisa Budny of Live Elevated PEMF

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elisa Budny.

Hi Elisa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always loved learning about how the body works and finding ways to help people feel and move better. As a competitive volleyball player myself I was always injuring myself and ending up in physical therapy. I loved learning about the best way to hope the body heal and get stronger. That’s what led me to study Exercise Physiology and begin to learn about both traditional and alternative therapies and how they can work together. My journey with PEMF therapy actually started through my family. My mom had PEMF therapy done on her horse with Lyme disease but due to distance the practitioner couldn’t come up often enough. This prompted my mom to start learning about and doing the therapy herself on her horse to start and then other horses. I will admit I was a bit skeptical about it to start even though she had already had results with horses and on herself. However, not too long after she started my dad had a stroke. She used PEMF right away during his recovery and seeing how much it helped him made me a believer. I used it on myself for back pain due to previous volleyball injuries too and after using it consistently have noticed a significant difference. Once I finished college I went straight into learning all about it and getting my certification, and now starting my own business to bring PEMF to people. I’ve always known I wanted to be in the health and wellness world, but I wasn’t sure exactly what my path would look like until PEMF came along. Now, I get to merge my passion for helping people move and live better with my love for animals. I get to help people and pets feel better and live their best lives. It’s incredibly rewarding, and I’m so excited to keep sharing the benefits of PEMF therapy with more people every day.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have had the most incredible support system from my parents and grandparents. Without their support and encouragement there is no way I would be where I currently am. The largest struggle so far has been getting clients. It is hard for people to trust this therapy and technology they have never heard of which I can definitely understand but does make quite the hump for me to get over. It has also been hard to get the word out and network. Many of the offices and other wellness professionals I have reached out to have not answered or have ghosted me after the conversation about it started. All this being said I have been luckier than most and the road has been overall pretty smooth. I have to remind myself that I have really only been at this a short time. The clients I have are also some of my biggest advocates and supporters and I could not be more thankful that they gave me a chance and have stuck with me.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business focuses on PEMF therapy, short for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy, which uses gentle electromagnetic pulses to help the body heal naturally. It works at the cellular level to help improve circulation, reduce inflammation, ease pain, and support recovery and overall wellness.
I started offering PEMF sessions in July 2024 and officially opened my business in January 2025. I work with both people and pets with the goal to help them move better, feel better, and live healthier lives. My background in exercise physiology gives me a strong understanding of how the body functions and what each client truly needs. I know everyone’s schedules and needs are different, so I do my best to make sessions convenient and comfortable. What I’m most proud of is building a brand that’s all about helping others heal naturally and feel their best without pressure, just genuine care and results. My goal is to make PEMF therapy more accessible so more people and pets can experience its incredible benefits.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I think PEMF as an alternative medicine will continue to grow over the next 5-10 years. The potential of PEMF to help people and pets with a large range of issues is amazing and I think both the technology, its accessibility, and the range of people that know about it will only improve from here.

• $1.50 per minute for a session(Ex. 30min is $45)
• I offer packages starting at a minimum of 5 sessions. 10% is taken off the total cost when a package is purchased
• I charge a travel fee that is generally between $10-20 depending on the distance
