Today we’d like to introduce you to Haley Harr

Hi Haley, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started professional photography just over 6 years ago in Utah. Since then, my husband and I have lived in Wyoming, Florida and now here in Colorado. In those 6 years and 3 big moves, I’ve learned a lot about weddings all over the country and how to best serve couples and families. As a mom myself, I know how quickly life goes and how important it is to capture our loved ones as they grow. I specialize in weddings but love getting the opportunity to photograph births, newborns and families of all sizes.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Moving every couple of years has been a challenge because just as I feel I’ve gotten an understanding of an area, we leave it. So it’s been hard to feel like I’ve had to keep starting over. Now that we’re in Colorado officially, I hope to get to establish myself for a long time and build my business better than ever here!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As a professional photographer and videographer, I capture weddings and families in a way that tells the story of life that day. Whether it’s your wedding day and you want it to be remembered forever, or your growing children, I love to capture things as they are in a documentary way. Storytelling is my specialty!

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I always knew I wanted to be a mom first, and have a career on the side. I’ve accomplished just that while having the perfect mom job as a professional photographer! I loved making videos and taking good photos as an oldest of 6, and always dreamed of having my own photography business.
