Meet Jennifer Reed

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Reed. Jennifer was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Rená Koesler.

Jennifer , can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Sure! I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and owner and founder of Made Strong Physical Therapy & Wellness, a mobile concierge physical therapy practice serving the Denver Metro Area. I am relatively new to the Denver area, and moved here from the Midwest in 2020 to start my business. I’ve always loved the outdoors, and Colorado has been a great fit! I didn’t necessarily anticipate becoming a business owner after graduating from physical therapy school, but it has been an incredible learning experience and has been a great way to get to know myself, the community, and create an environment where I can provide the highest quality care I know how to my patients. I grew up playing soccer, and had several injuries that required extensive physical therapy. I found I got the best outcomes when I was able to build a trusting relationship with my therapist and they worked with me in a way that was specific to my body, movement patterns, and goals. These experiences became the motivation to create the PT environment that I know was crucial for my patients to succeed.

Please tell us more about your practice.
Made Strong Physical Therapy & Wellness is a mobile concierge physical therapy practice serving the Denver metro area, and beyond! While I work with a wide variety of diagnoses and conditions, I have a special interest in those with chronic pain and complex injuries. Often times these individuals are only seen as a number with their healthcare providers, and their full story isn’t able to be expressed or fully understood. I’ve found that providing these people with adequate time to understand their background, challenges, and goals allow me to provide a customizable treatment plan that gets to the root of their issue, instead of just putting a band-aid on it. I also have a special interest in Multiple Sclerosis, and have developed an online course and community that help people diagnosed with MS across the world have access to resources and tools to help them feel more energized and confident in their future.

Rená Koesler and Summitcoachinternational, LLC have been great to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship with them as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Rená Koesler and Summitcoachinternational, LLC and your experience with them.
I first met Rená at a networking BBQ, just weeks after moving to Colorado and starting my business. I didn’t know many people, and was very new to my entrepreneurial journey. I immediately connected with her, especially her energy, positivity, and spirit for the outdoors. She shared with me her Mastermind on the Mountain program, a program she puts on once a month as a way for business owners to connect, network, and have meaningful conversations on topics that immediately impact our personal and professional lives, all while hiking together! I was instantly intrigued by this concept, as it was the perfect fit for me needing some guidance with my own business development in a way that was fun and outside. It was incredible to connect with others going through similar challenges that I was, and was in an environment that I was comfortable in. These hikes have allowed me to open up in ways I hadn’t before, and learn more about myself and vision for my life. I attended a few more Mastermind hikes before deciding to work with Rená  individually as my business coach.

Rená has become an invaluable mentor in my life. I have grown not only as a business owner, but as a person with a greater understanding of who I am, what my values are and what drives me, all with more confidence than I’ve had in my life before meeting her. Rená is an excellent listener, and guides and encourages me in a trusting way that helps me decide the next best step for me. I really enjoy the lessons I learn from her experiences in the outdoors, as well as from my own adventures with her guidance. Rena inspires me and others through her genuine heart, drive to help others succeed, and love for the outdoors. She is always ready for FUN (as am I), and I am so grateful for the memorable experiences I’ve created with her so far as a coach and friend.
