Meet Jeremy Osborne of Cheese Love Grill

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Osborne.

Jeremy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Tired of working a normal 9-5 job, I decided I needed to do something better. I wanted to be my own boss and make something out of myself. I sat down with a friend and, over beers said, let’s start a Grilled Cheese food truck. Within six months, it was done. We started in April of 2018 working farmers’ markets and slowly incorporating events and functions into our rotation. Pretty soon, I had roped my best friend (now girlfriend) into us both quitting our full-time jobs and running this thing full time. We very quickly became popular and made a name for ourselves, supplying exquisite cuisine at a very reasonable price. We continued to gain followers and larger events until we were able to buy out our original partner and upgrade to a much larger truck and trailer. We continue to grow everyday. Even through the pandemic we managed to survive and thrive. An extreme amount of work and dedication is the reason we have made it as far as we have.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’m not sure that any business ever runs completely smooth. Our biggest hiccup has been the unknown. We can sit down and plan out things for months, but when the time comes, we never really know. Will we do well, or will the weather cooperate for us? Will we make enough money to come out ahead or not? We have to jump through many loops and do a lot of paperwork throughout the year. Most of the time, we come out on top, but sometimes we lose. It’s constantly a bumpy road because of the unknown.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Cheese Love Grill is an outstanding food truck. We specialize in Gourmet Grilled Cheese, Philly Cheesesteaks and fries. We are known for our one-of-a-kind sandwiches. What sets us apart? We don’t serve boring food. We sell mouth-watering creations that you can’t find just anywhere. Our Street Taco grilled Cheese is our item that we are most proud of and known for. It’s a sandwich that will not disappoint whatsoever. We have always wanted our customers to know that they will get quality cuisine at a more reasonable price. We never want anyone to feel they have been taken advantage of. The services that we offer include Catering’s, events and many other things. We have done weddings, Birthday parties, funerals, fairs, music festivals and everything in between.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
To me success means, being able to live comfortably and enjoy the things I want to do while still loving the career that I have chosen.
