Today we’d like to introduce you to Katie Wessels.

Hi Katie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born a psychic medium with the ability to communicate with those who have crossed over as well as reading the energy of the living. In 2019 I graduated with my 250 hr RYT along with continuing education to become a trauma informed RYT. I discovered the Chakras during my training and decided to start my adventure as a Reiki practitioner. This is where my abilities took off! I was able to communicate with what some refer to as spirit guides to relay messages for my clients. I would have deceased family come through for messages for my clients. I was picking up energetic blocks created by traumas in my clients. This oftentimes turns into physical ailments like limited range of motion to autoimmune disorders. After some research I realized that I am a medical intuitive. I made the choice to put together a network of professionals in the Denver Metro area to refer out to when I come across things out of my own scope of practice. Over the years my business has evolved and grown into what it is today. I am now offering high end energy healing as well as trauma integrative coaching for women. Using my abilities to uncover what your body is storing. The story your body has to tell. This way we can work together to unravel the story and get you back to living the life you truly deserve. In doing so, many of my clients find their way onto their spiritual path where I guide many women into their own spiritual gifts, skills and abilities! My work is not only fulfilling, it keeps me on my toes because I never know what to expect. I always end the day baffled at the amazing things that take place in sessions. I couldn’t be happier or more grateful.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. Lol It required a lot of my own inner work and healing to show up daily as who I am. Not everyone understands the work that I do and that’s absolutely ok. It was also getting out of my own way. The imposter syndrome and fear of success held me back for a while. Being able to openly speak about what I do to the public and be ok with receiving odd looks and skeptical comments. I’ve grown. This unique path of mine means everything to me and I couldn’t be more proud of what I’m doing to help my community and women internationally. Self acceptance was a huge hurdle for me stepping into this and I’m proud to say that I’m finally embracing it all. I’m incredibly optimistic about my future as a medical intuitive, psychic and evidential spirit medium.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My holistic healing business is located in Westminster currently. I offer energy healing with options for reflexology add on, private readings, and coaching packages. I specialize in trauma healing and integration. I would have to say I’m probably most known in the Denver Metro for my mediumship, psychic abilities and my medical intuitive readings. What sets me apart from the others… phew.. that’s a big question.. I would have to say my willingness to keep learning and never assuming I know it all. Continuing education in this field is a must. An energy practitioner should be able to talk to you about how energy and the nervous system work together. How the nervous system is your intuitive channel and how trauma gets stuck in our bodies. Using a combination of somatic yoga, energy healing and shadow work to bring about the deepest profound healing. It’s not about the woo. It’s about results. There is a line of professionalism between “too woo” and bringing grounded bite sized relatable information to your client. I believe that keeping it realistic and grounded is the true magick. Real holistic healing for real women.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Going to the beach and walking along the tide pools and witnessing tiny life. I still love exploring nature and walking around looking at animals, bugs, tiny ecosystems. Its fascinating.
