Meet Kaveh Ershadi of ResonantVibe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaveh Ershadi.

Hi Kaveh, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
For twenty-four years I have followed one passion: technology for the nervous system in modern life. I spent those years studying the human body and the nervous system so I could design and develop safe, repeatable, targeted technology supporting the nervous system.

That road ran through three countries. I studied biomedical engineering in Iran, then earned two master’s degrees in France: one in medical imaging, and one from the École des Mines in biomedical engineering and design. Then came Houston, and twelve years in nuclear medicine developing targeted technology. Each step taught me something I would need later: how the body works, how to build standardized, safe systems for human use, and how a new field earns its place by measuring what it does.

All that study led me to create a new technology for the nervous system: MRFT, Multisensory Relational Frequency Technology. MRFT focuses on two things together: frequencies, and the relationships between them. Our nervous system reads everything at once: what we hear, see and feel, and how those signals relate to one another. Relational frequency is our term for that: several senses, each receiving a frequency inside the range it was built to read, held in a relationship the body recognizes as one event.

Next came an instrument to deliver those relationships: sound and vibration, composed to arrive as one event. That instrument is VAVE, our patent-pending platform.

Modern life asks a lot of us. Screens, schedules and noise fill the day, and few of us spend much time at the edge of the sea or in a forest, where people have always gone to feel different. Our mission is to make the conditions for a settled nervous system accessible to anyone, anywhere, anytime. Technology is only part of that. I also want to help build a culture around those conditions, where making time for your nervous system feels as ordinary as going for a run.

My vision is a world in harmony, where modern life has more access to the tools that let people reconnect within themselves, connect with the world around them, and return to being one with nature.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No.
The biggest challenge has been designing a technology that can be measured.

Sensory technology, and vibroacoustics in particular, has been in use for forty years, and the evidence is still young. Researchers never had a standard instrument. Most studies reported what went into a system, not what reached the body, so two labs could follow the same instructions and deliver two different stimuli. In 2022 an independent review of the field asked researchers to report, at minimum, frequency, amplitude, pulsation and loudness. The field has been waiting for an instrument that makes that possible.

So I set out to build one. Before we built a single part, we wrote eight standards the system had to meet: safe, repeatable, multisensory, effortless, measurable, modular, adaptable and accessible. Measurable was the hardest. A small vibrating plate on foam changes with the build, the season and the person lying on it, and nothing measured on a system like that means much to science.

What we want to give the field is an instrument consistent enough that researchers can measure its output and report the measurements the way the review asked. Our research arm, RESONAID, in formation, designs studies of our own premise, registered before data collection, results published either way. A field earns recognition through evidence, and evidence starts with an instrument you can measure.

That also means holding back. We say only what we can measure. That discipline costs us claims that would help us sell, and I believe that discipline is how this field moves forward.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
ResonantVibe is a Denver company. Our specialty is sensory technology for the nervous system, built on relational frequency. We design and build VAVE: a piece of furniture you lie on, sit on or carry with you, with a sound and vibration instrument built in.

Every VAVE runs the same technology, MRFT, on the same operating system, VAVE OS, which we develop ourselves. What changes between models is the position your body takes and the setting the system belongs to. VAVE Nidra is the reclined, full-length system. VAVE Nest and VAVE Nest Plus sit level with the floor of a studio or clinic. VAVE Go is the system without the furniture: a bolster, an electronics box and a carry bag. VAVE Perch is a chair for an office or a waiting room. Great VAVE, for two people side by side, and VAVE Lounge, a full couch, are custom orders we design with you.

What sets us apart is how the instrument moves. Most systems in this field shake you. VAVE carries you, so sound and vibration arrive together as one event, the same way every time. And every session is composed for multichannel so our system is not a speaker that plays the same sound to your body. Our music team spends hours on the platform writing MRFT sessions for each category and format. Our wellness team works with engineering, music and design so every session is safe and worth lying down for.

We build for the places people already go: studios and wellness centers, practitioners, music and sound venues, sport and performance, research groups, and homes. The VAVE App is free today.

Brand-wise, I’m proudest that we say only what we can show, and say plainly what we can’t show yet. Everything is a wave.™ That idea sits under everything we make.

If you’d like to try a session, sessions and demos happen at events, conferences and pop-ups through Resonarah, and we are visiting more cities this fall. Find us at resonantvibe.com.

VAVE systems are general wellness products. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Not a substitute for professional medical care. For adults 18 and over.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
Best: 4 season, mountain and dry weather. number of sunny days. Denver lives outdoors. People hike before work, ski on weekends, and still show up curious about something new. That curiosity made this city the right place to build ResonantVibe.

Least: I-25 at five o’clock. More seriously, rising rents keep pushing small makers out of neighborhoods they helped build. I’d like to see the city protect more space for people who make things here.
