Today, we’d like to introduce you to Kelli Stephenson. Kelli was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Kira Goff.

Kelli, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My love of business started as far back as middle school. While my peers spent their weekends at the mall, I was setting up bake sales and experimenting with pricing strategy and connecting with my “customers”. As soon as there was a window for me to merge my craft of hairdressing with my passion for business, I took hold of it and ran. My world now consists of owning an award winning salon, having the privilege of serving a full clientele, and most recently, raising a tiny little boy, as well. I feel grateful every day for the business and life I have been able to build so far, and genuinely look forward to what chapters lie ahead.

Please tell us more about your brand, Lush + Lather hair salon
My business is two part: part one is creating an atmosphere and community for my hairstylist team to grow and thrive in. Part two: crafting stunning hair, connecting with my cities most impressive women, and providing consistent, professional services. My greatest pride in my brand is using my space and my talent to propel those around me forward. Whether that is in their confidence, in delivering excellent hair, or in their career, in providing space for my team to thrive.

Working with Kira has been the missing link for creating a marketing masterpiece. She has poured her heart and soul into creating and EXPERIENCE for her clients, not just photos. From the moment you reach out to inquire with Kira, believe me: you’re blown away. She is communicative, professional, prompt, and makes the entire process smooth. During the actual shoot, she keeps everyone at ease, invites comfort in front of her camera, and offers the right amount of input to help capture what you are looking for. Receiving the email with the gallery is truly like Christmas Day. I always browse through her collection feeling like I got way more than I bargained for, and itching to use her new photos throughout my online presence. The cherry on top? Kira recently opened her own indoor studio in our city, and it is stunning. The option to have a beautiful space to use for shoots is such an unbelievable added value. Long story short- Kira is the full package, and I can’t sing her praises enough.
