Meet Kennedy Mathis of Socialé The Agency

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kennedy Mathis.

Hi Kennedy, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I always say Socialé wasn’t built out of reaction, it was built from reclamation. Before this chapter of business, strategy, and leadership, I went through a season that cracked me wide open. I had spent years overextending myself — trying to be perfect, people-pleasing, staying small to fit inside boxes that weren’t mine. I was on teams that made me question my voice, my gifts, and whether I was even cut out for the very thing I felt called to do.

In 2021, I experienced what I can only describe as a spiritual awakening. That was the moment I realized so much of what I believed about myself wasn’t actually mine — it was programming, survival mode, fear. I began doing the deep work of unlearning and reconnecting to my inner truth. Not just for the sake of healing, but because I knew I wanted to create something that would serve others from a grounded, aligned place.

That journey brought me back to my roots. Back to creativity, storytelling, intuition, and leadership — but on my own terms. Socialé was born from that soil. Not as a brand built to impress, but as a space to express. A creative and talent agency that helps founders, creators, and entrepreneurs show up in their full essence. I wanted to build something where clarity and confidence weren’t manufactured through trend cycles, but reclaimed through truth.

I’m not here to sell people a performance. I’m here to remind them of what already lives inside them — the part that’s bold, clear, magnetic, and rooted in purpose. That’s what Socialé is at its core

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Hahah it has absolutely not been a smooth road — but I wouldn’t trade the lessons for anything.

There were seasons where I felt like I had to rebuild myself from the ground up. I’ve had to walk away from environments that stifled my voice, question partnerships that didn’t honor my vision, and grieve versions of myself I once thought I had to be in order to succeed. I’ve battled imposter syndrome, burnout, anxiety, and the deep loneliness that sometimes comes with forging a path that doesn’t exist yet.

And yet, those challenges gave me clarity. They taught me how to lead with discernment instead of desperation. How to trust my own voice, even when it shook. How to stop outsourcing my worth to performance, productivity, or perception.

I’ve failed publicly. Pivoted privately. Sat with myself in silence and reminded myself why I started. And every time I choose to keep going — from alignment, not ego — I build something better than I imagined.

We’ve been impressed with Socialé The Agency, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Socialé The Agency is a full-service creative and talent agency that exists to help brands, creators, and founders show up like the powerhouses they are. We specialize in creative direction, brand storytelling, and content strategy that not only looks good but leads to real growth. From curated brand shoots to high-converting campaigns, everything we touch is backed by clarity, intention, and elevated execution.

Socialé isn’t just another agency — it’s a reflection of the standard I wished existed. After working on teams that didn’t value my voice, I made a decision to build something that did. Our work is rooted in purpose, not performance. Strategy that’s personalized, content that’s magnetic, and a team that actually cares about the long game.

We also work closely with content creators to help them monetize their platforms, acting as the bridge between their talent and the brands that align. From partnerships to paid campaigns, we help them get the recognition and compensation they truly deserve.

What I’m most proud of is that we’re known for more than results — we’re known for how we make people feel in the process. Supported, seen, and confident in their brand again

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something surprising? I’m actually incredibly introverted. Most people see the polished visuals, the confident branding, the bold messaging — and assume I thrive on being seen. But in reality, I’m someone who needs quiet to hear myself think. I do my best work when I’m grounded, centered, and tapped into something deeper than the trends or the noise. I’ve always been more reflective than reactive, and that stillness is where my vision gets clear.

What most people don’t realize is how much my spiritual practice is the engine behind everything I build. It’s how I move through anxiety. It’s how I protect my peace. And it’s definitely how I run a creative agency without burning out. My spiritual practice isn’t just a part of my life — it’s the blueprint for how I lead, create, and serve. The way I journal, visualize, and speak life into my goals isn’t just ritual, it’s strategy. And that energy is something people feel when they work with us. There’s a softness and an ease that flows through everything we do, because it’s built from a place of alignment. That’s the part people don’t always see at first — but once they experience it, they never forget it.

Most people you see online living the “boss girl” lifestyle are operating almost entirely in their masculine energy — all hustle, structure, strategy, and performance. And while there’s nothing wrong with being driven, what’s often missing is the balance. The softness. The flow. I’ve learned to honor the duality. I can be decisive and visionary while still allowing room for intuition, rest, and receptivity. I don’t subscribe to the idea that you have to burn out to be successful or constantly prove your worth to be taken seriously. The feminine doesn’t make you less powerful — it makes you magnetic. That’s the kind of leadership I stand for. One that feels grounded, expansive, and aligned with who I am at the core.

Most of the people who come to me are already at the edge of burnout — exhausted by the pressure to perform, to post, to keep up. They’ve been fed the lie that success only comes from subscribing to hustle culture, and it shows. But what we offer isn’t just strategy. We take the lead so they can breathe again. We bring clarity, direction, and creative execution that actually gives them space. And when they finally feel that ease — that energy of being supported — everything shifts. The alignment, the impact, the growth. It all becomes inevitable.
