Hi Kiki, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey began quite unexpectedly while celebrating a divorce with a friend in 2021. During our night out, I was approached with an intriguing proposal to produce a show.

Fueled by the excitement of the moment, I impulsively agreed. Realizing the need for a more thoughtful discussion, we scheduled a meeting to review the details when we were both clear-headed.

That meeting marked the beginning of a truly magical adventure. From there, we developed an extraordinary production that combines aerial, pole, and burlesque elements, eventually evolving into the unique comedy murder mystery show we have today.

We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey has been a mix of smooth and turbulent moments. Being part of the pole and dance community provided me with essential resources, but almost everything was challenging since I had no prior experience in production. Leading up to our first show, I had to learn and apply everything from scratch while also training for the routines I was set to perform and managing other aspects of my life.

Social media has been another significant hurdle, particularly with platforms often restricting or banning content related to pole and burlesque. Recently, I’ve faced substantial difficulties with these bans, making spreading the word about our shows hard. It can be disheartening when my troupe works tirelessly, teaching at various studios and creating acts that audiences love and enjoy.

Despite these obstacles, I remain determined. I’m exploring new promotional avenues beyond social media and looking for ways to navigate and, hopefully, defy the algorithms.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from growing up.
My childhood was quite eventful, as I grew up during the Bosnian War, which started when I was 2 and ended when I was 7. At 7, my family and I moved to the United States with just $20 and my mom’s purse. Despite the intense memories, my favorite childhood memory is moving here.

The sense of hope and feeling like we had won the lottery after years of chaos was overwhelming. I vividly remember receiving a beautiful dress from someone, which I wore to every important occasion (at the time, was as simple as going outside, lol). I would spin in circles, singing songs in my then-broken English, feeling so alive, hopeful, and magical.
