Meet Lauren Gibbs of Reverie Weddings at Casa Sagrada

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Gibbs.

Hi Lauren, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I started working in the wedding industry in 2011 doing hair and makeup. I quickly fell in love with the industry and the love people have for one another. What could be better than making someone feel like their best self on one of the most important days of their life? I knew quickly that I wanted to work on my own terms and I opened Colorado Bridal Company.

It started out as just me and grew into something bigger than I could have even imagined. Knowing I wanted to be an entrepreneur, I needed to expand. Adding more stylists to my team allowed me to pursue a dream that I have wanted for a very long time. I got the opportunity to exclusively run weddings out of Loveland’s newest event venue “Casa Sagrada”. We are currently in year one and so excited to see where it will take us!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing good ever comes easily. It takes a lot of trial and error, but I have an obnoxious mindset when it comes to failure….. Failure does not exist when you keep learning and moving forward. Sometimes it doesn’t look or feel like what you may have thought, but somehow it always turns out to be exactly right.
