Today, we’d like to introduce you to Mark Sbani. Mark was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented April Alsup.
Mark, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have a jobby-job during the day and at night I have a playwriting habit. If I write for long enough, eventually I devise something good. I steal from the dictionary alot, but who doesn’t? I guess Random House is my co-writer.

Let’s talk about your work and career – what else should we know?
I write and direct plays that make an impression onstage. Each play is a different side of my personality. They’re wildly exciting, I think, loaded with double meanings and high-quality dialogue. That’s because my mind is an ideas factory!
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by April Alsup and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with April.
April Alsup has something money can’t buy: good taste. She is wonderful. I hope to call her a lifelong friend. Creating “Eigg the Musical” with her has been an absolute joy.
