Meet Megan Weisiger Dave Hartman of Wood Winds Realty LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Weisiger Dave Hartman.

Dave was born and raised in the Denver Metro Area. He decided to try out the central plains when he went to Doane College. After graduating, the Rocky Mountains pulled him back to sunny Colorado. He then met his wonderful wife and moved to Breckenridge where they raised four children. He has spent over 30 years in Breckenridge successfully running a property management, real estate, and lodging company. During those 30+ years he has tackled contracting projects, full developments, real estate sales as well as purchases, and much more.

Megan was born and raised in the mountains of Breckenridge. She graduated from the University of Colorado and she still remains a big BUFFS fan. After graduating from Boulder, she moved to Denver and she has been living in the area since. After a few years of working for CBRE, INC in their property management division she decided to take the leap and join Dave in the Summit and Denver Metro Real Estate Market.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Being a small family-owned real estate company it has been a challenge to compete with nationwide large real estate firms. We have worked tirelessly to gain exposure to compete with these larger firms. Competition never hurt anybody and we understand the challenges of being a small firm. However, we have worked to show our clients we are just as competitive within the real estate market.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Every day is a lesson learned. In this market, each day brings on a new challenge that we are learning and adapting to. We learn lessons through new clients, new housing trends, different HOAs, and new rules and regulations.

Megan Weisiger continues to learn lessons from managing broker Dave Hartman because his knowledge and expertise in the Real Estate industry goes beyond the buying and selling of property.
