Today we’d like to introduce you to Oscify.

Hi Oscify, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey across these windswept plains and traversing purple mountaintops has been winding and strange, to say the least. I wandered into the wilderness for some time and returned with a renewed perspective. It can be said I used both paintbrush and sledgehammer in the search for meaningful self-expression. But when I’m creating or performing music, it truly feels like I’m flying once I close my eyes.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes, there have been many challenges including very difficult family tragedies and numerous other setbacks including mental health and depression. At times, the greatest hurdle was actually to tell myself to keep going on this less traveled and dangerously perilous path, not knowing where the roads were leading.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a lyricist and composer. I love pondering the minutiae of timing, melody and the call and response of instruments. I find myself in a web constructing multi-syllabic rhymes and even more rhymes within the rhymes. I enjoy creating stories through compositions within evolving environments. Always done with supreme passion.

Any big plans?
I feel very privileged and blessed to be able to do what I’m doing right now. Tomorrow is never certain, but I’m committed to sharing this art I’ve put so much work into for as long as I can.
