Today we’d like to introduce you to Paige Nix and Rachel Barrera

Hi Paige and Rachel, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Honestly, we first started Mia Bella Esthetics on a whim. We met in Esthetics School and started a friendship right off the bat. After we graduated, Covid-19 shut everything down, and one afternoon we started texting about the idea of opening our own spa suite business, and we decided to just go forth and start the journey of opening our own business. We just celebrated our one-year anniversary of being open in August as well. We have got to where we are with our drive and passion for all things skincare, our drive, hard work, communication with one another, and the amazing support from our clients, family, and friends.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We have most definitely have had our highs and lows in our journey for sure. We both have never run a business before, so along the way we have had a couple of kinks but with our teamwork and communication, we have overcome everything. We are also obviously in a global pandemic as well, so we have adapted and made changes accordingly.

We’ve been impressed with Mia Bella Esthetics, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Mia Bella Esthetics we strive to give our clients the most tranquil and relaxing environment with their time. We welcome all genders and sexes and try our best to help all of our clients feel comfortable in their own skin to make their own beauty mark in the world. What sets us apart is our holistic approach in our treatments, our contribution to the community, and our knowledge.

What we are most proud of in our brand is the results we give our clients, and how welcoming we are to everyone and anyone. We also offer a complimentary drink service and a discount for all first-time clients.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that’s surprising to most people is that we opened Mia Bella Esthetics right in the middle of a global pandemic, and we went straight into opening our own business after graduating from Esthetics School and getting our Esthetics License.
