Meet Peter Mitzelfeld

Today we’d like to introduce you to Peter Mitzelfeld. 

Hi Peter, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a Colorado Native and have always been interested in helping my community. As a younger person, I was always in some type of customer services from restaurants to managing a financial institution. After buying my first home I was inspired to help others in real estate. I have also worked in construction so I feel my financial and construction background helped me become the well-rounded real estate broker I am today. I truly love helping my community in real estate and the joy it brings me and my clients is fantastic! 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a little bumpy along the way, real estate is a slow growth process with a lot of emotional ups and downs but I have always enjoyed the process. I’m always learning professionally and personally! 

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I focus on helping people in residential sales and leasing as well as some commercial real estate. I feel like I offer a unique buying and sales experience because I always put the client first and ask as many good questions as I can to understand their needs and goals. I’m different from most brokers because I handle sales and leasing and my leasing and property management services focus on taking the stress off the landlord while still giving them control over the process. 

We’d love to hear about what you think about risk-taking?
Yes, I’m constantly taking calculated risks in business. I feel that is a necessary part of growing your business and reaching out to people in different ways and expanding who you can help. Personally, I do enjoy some extreme sports like skiing/snowboarding, riding motorcycles, rock climbing so you could say there are also some calculated risks there as well.
