Meet T Mill of Paradox East Radio

Today we’d like to introduce you to T Mill. 

T, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey in Radio began when I was 8 years old. I recorded & mixed my own radio shows on cassette tapes, recording over my grandfather’s choir and church tapes. Of course, I got in big trouble for that, but he also invested in my interests and bought me the tapes I needed to do it correctly. 10 years old I was living in a women’s college dorm, of which my grandmother was the dean. All it took was for one student in the dorm to buy my cassette tape for $5 and I was hooked. I’ve professionally been working in radio, and music for over 20 years now and launched a fully licensed internet radio station and multimedia company. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest challenge so far was, avoiding distractions and the false desire to be recognized. I’m glad that I had a small group of friends that believed in my style and never made me feel awkward that I chose to go against the grain. As a creator, we can easily get caught up trying to mimic what we see and hear others doing that we become afraid to take risks or experiment with our own art. 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Paradox East Radio is a division of Paradox East. An independent radio station licensed and registered to play the best variety of indie music from around the globe. We play all genres of music from around the globe, produce podcasts, and host events around the Tennessee Valley, South East. We offer airplay, interviews, reviews, marketing campaigns, events, Livestream coverage, producing your podcast, and we also teach virtual classes in podcast, livestream, and music production. Our interviews include business owners, community advocates, business professionals, and a variety of personalities. 

What are your plans for the future?
Our plans for the future is to grow and balance the music and media landscape for the upcoming music industry professionals, and indie business owners. The mainstream is overflowing with media outlets and we are here to create a balance. We now have the ability to livestream remote events from all around the world, host virtual events and conferences, and become a viable force in the media world.
