Today we’d like to introduce you to Telicia Officer.
Hi Telicia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey with Divinity Beauty & Massage began as both a calling and a rebirth. I’ve always been drawn to the healing arts — from studying the science of skincare to understanding the emotional and spiritual side of wellness. Years ago, I owned a successful herbal bath and body care line in Alaska, where I fell in love with the process of crafting natural remedies and connecting with people through touch, nature, and intention. After relocating to Colorado, I felt inspired to blend all of those experiences into something more holistic — a sanctuary where people could come to not only look better but feel truly restored.
Starting Divinity Beauty & Massage was my way of bringing together everything I’ve learned over the years: skincare expertise, massage therapy, herbal knowledge, and a deep belief in the power of ritual and self-care. It’s been a journey of growth, faith, and reinvention — learning how to balance business with heart, and science with spirit. Today, my goal is to create experiences that remind people of their own divinity — that beauty and wellness start from within.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — but I’m grateful for every challenge because each one shaped the way I show up today. Like many small business owners, I’ve had to navigate everything from financial uncertainty to burnout to starting over after major life transitions. When I moved from Alaska to Colorado, I had to rebuild my clientele and reputation from scratch, while also adjusting to a completely different pace and community.
There were times I questioned whether I was on the right path, especially balancing business ownership with motherhood and my own well-being. But every obstacle pushed me to refine my purpose and find creative ways to keep growing — whether that meant rebranding, learning new techniques, or expanding into wellness and herbal education. The road hasn’t been easy, but it’s been real — and that authenticity is at the heart of everything I do at Divinity Beauty & Massage.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Divinity Beauty & Massage is more than a spa — it’s a sanctuary for restoration, beauty, and inner peace. I specialize in combining advanced skincare and therapeutic massage with herbal, holistic, and ritual-based approaches to healing. Every facial and massage is customized with intention — from the music and aromatherapy to the herbal infusions and oils used on the skin. My clients often tell me it feels like a spiritual experience, not just a treatment, and that’s exactly what I strive for: helping people reconnect with themselves.
What truly sets my business apart is the integration of modern aesthetics with ancient wisdom. I formulate my own botanical skincare line, handcrafted for Colorado’s unique climate, using plant-based ingredients that nourish both skin and spirit. My space is intentionally designed to be calm, warm, and welcoming — a place where clients can breathe, let go, and receive care that feels deeply personal.
I’m most proud of how Divinity Beauty & Massage has evolved organically, rooted in authenticity and purpose. The brand stands for more than outer beauty — it represents renewal, grounding, and the divine connection between nature and self. Whether someone comes in for a facial, massage, or one of my herbal or sound healing sessions, I want them to leave feeling lighter, balanced, and more in tune with their own energy.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I think the beauty and wellness industry is moving toward something much deeper and more intentional. People aren’t just looking for a facial or massage anymore — they’re looking for experiences that help them reset, reconnect, and truly heal. Over the next decade, I see a blending of traditional spa treatments with holistic wellness practices — herbalism, sound therapy, energy work, and mindfulness.
Technology will continue to play a role, especially with advanced skincare and customized treatments, but clients are craving more of a human, soulful connection. They want authenticity — real ingredients, real care, and real results. I also think sustainability and transparency will define the next generation of beauty — people want to know where their products come from and how they’re made.
At Divinity Beauty & Massage, I see myself growing right alongside these shifts — staying rooted in nature and ritual while continuing to create experiences that honor the whole person, not just their skin.
