Meet Tyler Hunter

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Hunter. Tyler was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Dion Studinski.

Tyler, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
My path into dog training started when I got Lucas, an eight-week old German Shepherd. As time went on, his behavioral issues became an ongoing problem. After going through trainer after trainer, I started to develop my own philosophy on dog training and found a mentor to help hone my process into what it is today. I eventually started helping others with their dogs’ behavioral problems after seeing how people struggled, just like I did, with other trainers, and not getting the results they needed.

Let’s talk about your work and career – what else should we know?
Listening and reading between the lines is a big aspect in understanding our clients and their dogs’ needs. We help create harmony within their everyday lives with their dogs. What sets us apart is our philosophy. Rarely do we come across a dog we can’t help. Our tried-and-true philosophy has stemmed from our own problems and finding solutions to these common behavioral issues ourselves, so that we can pass on our knowledge to our clients. We’ve figured it out the hard way so that our clients don’t have to. The most satisfying part of our work is seeing the results and helping people love their dogs again.

As you know, we’re big fans of Dion Studinski and Ancillary K9 we know you’ve worked with them quite a bit as well. We’d love to hear about your experience working with Dion Studinski.
I met Dion years ago before we both started training dogs; we both ended up with aggressive, dominant dogs and found ourselves working through the process together to solve these issues.

Our goal is to help dog owners develop stronger relationships, extinguish behavioral issues, and achieve the highest level of obedience possible for a happier life.

Our philosophy is based on clearly understanding and addressing the clients goals, bringing back structure and consistency to the dog’s life, teaching clients how to effectively communicate with their dog so that they can address current issues, as well as troubleshoot problems that may arise in the future.
