Hi Viktorija, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started LivedinMane Co over two years ago and it has been the best decision I’ve ever made.
The ability to hone in on my craft and specialize in the kind of services I want to provide, helps me create my dream work environment!
Best of all, I have the ability to bring my dog, Chloe. She is the sweetest and most perfect salon dog that absolutely brings a smile to everyone face. My dog and I are the dream team!
Best of all, I started my instagram in 2016 as a portfolio, reaching 10k followers and counting! It’s an honor to connect and engage with other clients and stylists.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely! I know deep in my heart that without the difficult lessons and situations I’ve been in, I wouldn’t be able to celebrate my achievements. Each roadblock gives you the opportunity to learn and hopefully make sure the same situation doesn’t happen again.
I use the same principle with hair. If I have a dissatisfied client, I will make sure that not only do I resolve the conflict but learn for the future. Making sure I learn how I could have changed the outcome.

LivedinMane Co prides itself in creating a balance of providing a comfortable 4-5 hour coloring service while allowing my guest to work freely during our session if needed.
Modern women want their weekends available to them, for their own personal time. A decade ago, that would not be the case. As our world is progressing in technology, it allows for my clients to work from anywhere.
With this realization, I designed my studio to have a working station perfect for who need to multitask! I want my guests to feel valued and comfortable during their experience and it’s a privilege to be able to provide that.
My shop has coffee, snacks, chargers, a desk, red light heater and best of all my assistant Chloe!
For those who don’t need to come in with a laptop, have the opportunity for cuddles with my pup. She provides not only warmth and smiles and a soothing presence that’s priceless!

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I have two books that I remember blew my mind and it happened to be while I was attending cosmetology school. Around that time period, I wanted to learn more abut spirituality and manifestation which led me to find “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz and “Ask and its Given” by Esther and Jerry Hicks.

The podcast that helped me not only as a stylist behind the chair but as a business woman is “The Thriving Stylist” with Britt Seva!
