Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Bohlman.
Hi Courtney, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Wholesome Alchemy started 2 years ago, in a small kitchen in a shared home. I had been making natural products for YEARS and finally decided I want to allow those products to serve a larger community. The beautiful thing about our company/movement is that we source our oils directly from communities in West Africa AND donate a minimum to 15% of profits towards developing more schools in that area. It is a beautiful circle of service.
Since Wholesome Alchemy started, we have expanded in big ways. We are no longer just an organic body-care product company. Now we are 100% Organic Health & Wellness. We offer online courses and host 6 international and domestic retreats a year. Allowing our community to travel the world and do their internal work at the same time.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not. The largest struggle is losing faith. Those moments when business slows down and you waiver a bit in your faith. In those moments nothing seems to go right, but when you can get back into trust and alignment the path opens again.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am most proud of my retreats. Each one is unique and created to guarantee a transformational experience. We practice yoga and meditation daily and do deep dives into our hearts. We explore and expand ourselves so that we can go out into our world and make a true impact– as a more aligned and accurate version of ourselves!
What matters most to you? Why?
Being of service. Everything about my company is so that I can serve my world. We are plastic free, vegan, and hand created. We give back our profits and we sustainable source all of our materials. Each program and retreat is created to serve and up-level our community. We want to make our impact on this planet–in a positive powerful way!
