Rising Stars: Meet Delaya of Arvada

Today we’d like to introduce you to Delaya.

Hi Delaya, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I facilitate soulful relationships between animals and humans. As an intuitive channel, I speak for the animals.

I have always felt deeply connected to animals, when around them I felt completely different than I felt around humans. When I was young, they were my refuge from so many things in life that I did not understand or couldn’t cope with, they still are.

As an adult I started paying more attention to this connection and began to realize that I could hear them. Speaking to me about me; and also speaking about themselves. As someone that was sometimes perceived as being ‘out there’ I was hesitant to let this become public knowledge.

Horses have always held a great mystery for me. It’s easy for me to hear them and to feel them. This can be very unsettling because they are often so mistreated. Most of my life I felt like I was the only one that felt this from horses as the rest of the world seemed focused on competing and riding in some capacity. But as I grew in my partnership with my own horses, I began to commit completely to this mystical wisdom that called me to speak for them.

I can communicate with any animal, but because horses have been so misunderstood and mistreated, they have been my focus. The majority of them speak to me about their purpose, their own and their humans. They yearn to see their human fulfill their purpose.

This changed my life forever. Knowing how important it is for an animal to see their human fulfil their purpose has opened my mind and my heart with expanded insight into relationships between animals and humans.

As busy, mental humans these days we have prioritized mental thinking over intuitive feeling. We would best serve our lives by marrying the two. Intuition is a doorway to soulful observation, and a soulful life is a life of purpose and joy. And there is no better way to access our soulful nature than with animals.

Our own animals know us inside and out, more than most humans ever will. Another thing about animals is that they are our biggest fan. Not only in who they see us to be in relation to them, but in what they believe we can be. In our greatest possibility.

The more Readings I had with animals the greater need I felt to make this type of partnership known. My clients have responded with amazing gratitude and surprise at what their animals had to say. They are so moved by how their animals perceive them and their deep dedication to their purpose together.

In ancient times humans communed with animals, they were considered equal and of soulful importance. Modern humans have become estranged from this type of relationship with them.
It seems to me that in these challenging times it would be to our advantage to return to the awareness that we need deep relationships with animals.

This helps to disengage our busy minds and bring us into our feeling bodies. And in our feeling body we let our guard down and embrace things we have in common with animals. This in turn enlightens us to see how much we have in common as humans.

When I send someone the Reading after speaking with their animal, the most common response is tears and amazement. They had no idea their animal saw them with such insight and possibility. They often say that their animal shifts their behavior after having a Reading with me, I believe this is because they are more relaxed and satisfied after feeling like they have been heard.

After hearing the impact of the Readings, I decided to make it a business, wisdom this amazing must be shared.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I dont see it as being smooth or challenging, becuase I know that the majority of people dont believe in animal communication. I keep the faith because those that do believe, make such a difference in the lives of their animals. And this matters more than the numbers of those that doubt.

For me, marketing is a huge challenge, so I just trust that those that are meant to find me do. And when I hear how many people do find me I smile at the magick.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an Equine Partnered Spirituality Consultant. My work is different, but complimentary to other Equine Therapies. I do ‘Readings’ with horses, a type of intuitive/telepathic communication where horses speak to me of their purpose and concerns about humans they are close to or that they interact with.

This is extremely helpful in situations where humans need emotional and spiritual support. I find that animals are very interested in the well-being of their humans, including their purpose in life.

What sets me apart from other communicators is that most animals speak to me about purpose. They primarily speak about soulful matters. My Soul Purpose Reading is a very in-depth conversation with the animal, then I write The Invitation. This is where I harmonize information within the Reading with practical application, the animal is still included in this. These Readings average 13 – 16 pages. People are always surprised at the depth and perspective in these Readings.

I also have an Exploratory Reading for those considering adding a new animal to their lives. I connect with the animal and find out what they are looking for in a home and a person, this sheds light on whether this would be a good match.

People sometimes ask me to speak with animals that have passed through the veil. This may be to just feel connected or to help with unresolved matters. Because animals speak in energy they are not limited by the density of earth.

I am most proud of being able to speak for the animals. Many of their humans say that after a Reading, their animal has a shift in behavior and/or attitude. This is because they feel heard. It is so important for all of us to feel like we have been heard.

I am also proud of the response from the humans, most of them say they cry. They are very moved by how profound the Readings are. Being able to be involved in work like this is immensely satisfying. I am very grateful to be of service this way.

Any big plans?
I like keeping my work intimate. Because of who I am and the nature of the work I find this to be of the most benefit.

I do have a couple of courses that I do that are fitting for a small group. I have an Agreement Quest; this is a dive into understanding our Agreements with our animals. This is insightful and helpful in our relationships with them.

I also have a course, The Secret World of Horses, that is an intensive into the relationship and purpose of horses and humans. This is for those deeply committed to their horse and their own soulful journey.
