Today we’d like to introduce you to Eilef Cooksey.
Hi Eilef, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
This company started out as a little inside joke in elementary school around 2016 with my friends. We would write comics, design tanks and guns, make daily fortunes for our classmates, and do generally silly kid stuff. Over the years, I wanted eatr to become something more serious since I started compiling some actually interesting ideas and endeavors. In 2021, eatr RECORDS was born with a song recording from someone in high school that my friends and I knew. From there, things went slowly and progress has stagnated, but with my new band “Ghosts of the Living”, we want to do as much of our own merchandising as possible. Once we have an album recorded, I will be investing a lot of time and money in eatr RECORDS to create independent, sustainable, and reasonably priced band merch for artists all across Colorado and eventually the world. I have big plans to never stop growing and eventually start an automotive brand and help save the planet from climate change. eatr PRODUCTS, put simply, is the true hope and belief in humanity’s bright future.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The only real roadblock has been financial. I have finally gotten into a groove with a new job that will lend me enough stability to invest in my business though so I am very excited to get started on that.

I do a lot of graphic design and that applies to most endeavors that I pursue; whether that is the record label, design freelancing, video work, brand identity, or whatever else. Aesthetics are the leading force in most of the things I do because I believe all things in the world should be beautiful in order to amplify human happiness and harmony with the divine. eatr is really known for being visionary and having clever and inventive minds collaborate to dream of a better tomorrow. I think that separates eatr PRODUCTS from the rest because we want to do everything in the best way possible. Ingenuity in sustainability is at our core. We have no drive for profit, only for progress.
