Today we’d like to introduce you to Elenah Davis.
Hi Elenah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been making music since I was 11 — I had a Ten Toes Down challenge video back then, just trying to put words to what I was feeling. I didn’t fully lock in until I got shot at 18. That moment changed everything. I started using music, visuals, and branding as a way to heal and to speak — not just for me, but for people like me who never felt fully heard.
I created $incerelyHEAT™ as a movement, not just a brand — a platform for overlooked artists, creatives, and dreamers who need real support and visibility. I’ve been building it from scratch, offering promo, visuals, and community — even when I didn’t have funds, just heart. Right now, I’m also stepping more into producing and videography, documenting everything through PERIELI$TV. It’s all connected.
Along the way, I coined a word — Perielis — which I submitted to Urban Dictionary. It means: ‘a soul caught between spiritual knowing and earthly pain — where love and sin, peace and pressure, all exist at once.’ That’s the space I’ve lived in, and the energy I create from. It’s more than a word — it’s my philosophy, my reality, and my why. Every part of my story is built off resilience, reflection, and turning pain into power. And I’m just getting started.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not. I graduated in 2021, and by 2022 I got shot. That changed everything — physically, mentally, emotionally. I’ve been dealing with PTSD, chronic pain, and I’m on probation right now, so I can’t work. Even getting to doctors takes forever. In 2024, I lost my nana — my best friend — and not long after, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. He’s currently going through chemo.
It’s been a heavy road, back-to-back. But through all that, I kept creating. That’s what led me to build $incerelyHEAT™ — a platform for artists and creatives like me who just need a shot. It’s become something that gives me purpose. There’s no deadline on it — just this deep feeling that I have to turn all of this into something.
Through $H, I’ve been able to tap into everything I love: music, videography, branding, even tattooing. And beyond that, I get to help other people get their voice out, feel seen, and grow. Being an entrepreneur is tough, but this movement gives me hope. And right now, that’s what’s keeping me alive
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Right now I’m just growing. I’m learning how to edit videos, experimenting with producing my own music, just figuring it all out as I go. I don’t got it all mastered yet, but I’ve been consistent and open to trying whatever I can. That’s what $incerelyHEAT™ is for — it’s a space for me and other creatives like me to grow and be seen, even when we’re still learning.
I’ve been tapping into music, visuals, tattoos, and branding — just finding new ways to express myself and help other people get their stuff out too. I’m proud that I started all this without money, without a team, just off heart. What makes me different is I don’t wait til it’s perfect. I move off purpose. Even when life’s hard, I’m still trying, still building, and helping others do the same
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I come from a part of Colorado Springs people don’t usually brag about. Growing up, it felt like I was always fighting — fighting to be heard, to stay safe, to not become numb to it all. I got shot in 2022, and that moment changed everything. I’ve carried trauma since, but I also carry purpose now.
The little things hit different when you’ve been through a lot. Hearing my own voice in my music and feeling the pain that’s still healing. Getting a compliment on a beat I made or a visual I’m learning how to edit. Showing my grandma what I created and seeing her light up. That kind of stuff means more than most people know.
I didn’t come from perfect. I’m not living perfect. But I’m proud of my growth. Every small step has been huge for me, especially when the world never made space for people like me to dream. I’m still here. Still trying. Still building something real out of everything I survived.
This isn’t about fame. This is about freedom.
