Rising Stars: Meet Jessica Dory

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Dory. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Jessica Dory’s inspiring journey from a debilitating auto-immune disease to the creation of the Verde Collection is a powerful testament to the truth behind the saying “Necessity is the Mother of Invention”.

In 2017, Jessica began experiencing severe inflammation and pain in her joints, sleep deprivation, hair loss, chest pains, painful swollen joints, respiratory inflammation, and anemia. After seeking medical help and receiving the diagnosis of Lupus, Jessica and her husband, Ian Dory, began exploring holistic healing options. This led them to the use of cannabis for pain management, an organic and mostly plant-based diet, and eventually Jessica’s role as a Visionaire, grower, and founder of the Verde Collection.

Through her own struggle with a debilitating auto-immune disease, Jessica was able to create a house of CBD brands with the mission of helping others access natural, organic, and clean remedies.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
With the pandemic now in our past, I can say as a family-owned business, we faced moments of uncertainty and challenges due to the unknown path the world was taking. Fortunately, we managed to find our way through the rough waters and adjust accordingly.

We encountered struggles due to uncertainty among consumers and disconnection from our community; however, we are thankful that we were able to persevere and it was gratifying to see us all emerge from this situation united.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Verde Collection, we specialize in providing the highest quality, organically grown hemp products to our customers. We are proud of our ability to adapt to the ever-changing cannabis industry as well as our sustainable farming practices that benefit both the Earth and our customers. Our certified organic hemp is meticulously overseen from seed to flower, ensuring our products are raw extract-full spectrum and rich in phytocannabinoids. We are incredibly proud of our closed-loop, USDA Organic production system. From Seed to Shelf, we grow, harvest, and bottle all of our own cannabis.
