Rising Stars: Meet Linden Wilson of Denver – Anywhere in Colorado, National, International!

Today we’d like to introduce you to Linden Wilson.

Hi Linden, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve loved photography since I can remember. Grew up playing with my parents cameras – they were always so good at documenting our families life and milestone moments. I took classes through high school, and would create my own pinhole cameras. When I moved to Colorado over a decade ago, I got my first DSLR and would bring it everywhere. I started taking more and more photos of people, and when I photographed my first wedding 8 years ago, I knew I found my passion. All while I was pursuing my passion of photography and running my own business, I worked a full-time corporate job as a Marketing Director. Last year, I took the leap to go full-time with my photography business and I couldn’t be happier. I’m so grateful for where I’m at and where I’m going, for all of my incredible clients, and the moments I get to document for them. It’s a dream!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting and running my own business has been so incredible, but there have definitely been some obstacles along the way, especially as I tried to balance my photography business with my previous job. And with that, my overall work-life balance. That said, every hurdle has been a part of my story – a part of me and my business growing. I’m still learning every day, and my dedication to my clients and what I do keeps me going.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a wedding and elopement photographer based in Colorado, intentionally documenting and preserving love stories.

My style is ethereal, nostalgic, colorful, and a bit moody. I document all the big moments and the little details in between. I lean into movement, storytelling, and helping my couples be their authentic selves in front of the camera. That’s how we get the photos that take you right back to the way it felt.

My whole heart goes into providing the best experience for my couples. I really get to know each of my clients and understand what’s most important to them when it comes to their wedding photography. I help them open up, feel comfortable, and be present in the moment. That way, when they look back at their photos, they can relive their favorite moments in an honest, beautiful, and artful way.
