Today we’d like to introduce you to Lorna Schlegel.
Hi Lorna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
Naked Herbs was started I. The spring of 2020 in my little Denver apartment. I truly believe in herbal medicine and I’ve always been into tea as a young girl, I wanted to share my hobby and creative side through something I love. Each blend of tea is crafted in small batches with specific health needs in mind. You can drink them hot or cold and still will be able to enjoy all the benefits the herbs offer. I also have crafted a small wellness line for the body and home. I don’t use any harsh chemicals or dyes, artificial flavors in anything I create, naked and natural just like Mother Nature intended.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been pretty smooth process, I made sure to not rush into any more than I could handle. I’ve had a great support by my side this whole time pushing me that this can be possible, and that help came from my fiancé. Believe me, I had my moments of what am I doing is this going to be successful, will people like me. I will say marketing can be hard and I’m still learning.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m currently in school to become a Hygienist, being healthy has always been a huge deal to me. Running Naked Herbs keeps me busy for sure, but I’m and artist at heart and I used to paint and draw a lot but these days I’ve switched my creative focus on Herbs and flowers. Back to those roots that got me here, simply being in the kitchen and learning from my grandparents and Mom. I’m proud of myself I’m so many ways that I had the courage and drive to see this through. I surprise myself every day of what I’m doing right now and what I plan for my future. I’m not stopping I’ve come to far to stop.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I must always be humble and learn to self-love myself whenever possible. Surround myself with like-minded people that want success for me too. I’m not alone in the journey.
